For everyone who is waiting on your background checks... You can log into the hire right website and check the status. I NEVER got an e- mail letting me know it was finished. If there is no status change feel free to contact them by phone, but DO NOT call them a lot. Apple will contact you either way. I know it can be hard to wait, I waited almost 3 weeks for my offer.

I received my offer call 9-10 days after my background check was completed. My BGC was completed on 6/4 and I got the offer call on 6/13. I happened to miss that call and was called back the following day 6/14. To give you a heads up and take it for what it's worth, I was scheduled for the July 1st class and even though my BGC was completed on 6/4 and I received my offer on 6/14 my start date was pushed back almost two months, until August 26th and I'm not the only one. Good luck and if your BGC is clear you will get you call.

Did you get the call in the morning or in the afternoon?

Hey, I'm in the same boat as you! The best advice I have for Daisy is just to be patient. I know, it's nearly impossible for many reasons. I'm a really impatient person, and from beginning to end, I had to wait over a month for the offer call. As long as you don't have some seriously shady history that would turn up in the background check, the offer call is only a matter of time!

I got mine on 06/14 in the afternoon around 2:30 p.m.

I applied June 2nd and haven't heard anything. I did say I would not be able to start until after I get back from traveling after the 4th of July. Any thoughts.

TM email?

Anyone else in the July 1 class expecting to get an email from your team manager today? Mine has not come yet. My notes from the paperwork meeting two weeks ago show we should hear from TM today.

I would wait til Wednesday or Thursday

That makes me a little nervous since there was a slight issue with my paper work. Apple sent me a shipping label that had a duplicate tracking number with someone else. The other package arrived, mine never went anywhere. When I contacted HR to see what was up they told me to wait a weekend to see what happens. I did and then emailed again on Monday (last week) when there was no change in tracking status. The HR person said "Everything seems to be in order" and later that day I got my employee login. I can only assume "everything is in order" since there have been no further emails. Because of all this I think I'll send my recruiting coordinator an email in the morning just to be sure.

so, I recently went through the interview process, last interview was Thursday, got BGC email a few hours after, got an email Friday morning wanting more information on my previous employment, sent all of the required info over, BGC was completed at 3:30 this afternoon, received my offer call at 7 EST! Whoa that was quick

now the waiting game for offer email and I believe I'll be golden.

I'm 7/15 iOS I do believe.

Best of luck to those waiting to hear something!

Just had a general question regarding pay. I had been told $16.50 in my first interview then I was rejected for position.

The second time around I am offered less then that.

Anyone here negotiate or anything? And if you guys can give an estimate of average starting pay because I read people in their offers get something hire then what they were quoted.

And lastly I applied for a PT job they offered me FT should I ask if PT is available or would that look bad?

I'm not sure the pay is negotiable, it's based on your geographic location (more or less). Also, in order to negotiate salaries you have to have something that the company wants or needs. In the case of the AHA position it's supply and demand. There is a huge supply of applicants and Apple can pick and choose whomever they want... there's no need for them to pay a higher starting wage unless someone has a really damned good skill-set. This is a customer service job not a programming or engineering job.

I was offered a quarter more an hour so not much more for me I read some people get a few dollars more an hour than originally quoted so who knows. Also I read on a different website that apple doesn't like to negotiate but there's no harm in trying.

Applied in June Haven't heard anything

I applied in June and I haven't gotten an email or a phone call. The only thing I can think is when it asked when I could start I said not until July 9th. I'm relocating the rest of my belongings and will be trying to get settled. Would you reapply?
