I applied in June and I haven't gotten an email or a phone call. The only thing I can think is when it asked when I could start I said not until July 9th. I'm relocating the rest of my belongings and will be trying to get settled. Would you reapply?

This is still the month of June so I would just wait it out. If you haven't heard back by the end of the month then I would wait until you are settled and reapply.

Waiting for my offer

For everyone who is waiting on your background checks... You can log into the hire right website and check the status. I NEVER got an e- mail letting me know it was finished. If there is no status change feel free to contact them by phone, but DO NOT call them a lot. Apple will contact you either way. I know it can be hard to wait, I waited almost 3 weeks for my offer.

Cong! I hope to receive my offer soon. Question, did you apply directly through Apple or did you go through Kelly Services?
I am going through Kelly Services and they took all of my personal info two weeks ago, received an email so I could set up my payroll info and then I received another email congratulating me and welcoming me to Kelly services with a host of optional course I can do to enhance my office, management skills. Have anyone experience this step with Kelly Services?

I received my last email on June 13, should I contact them? or should I just wait until they contact me.

Anyone else in the July 1 class expecting to get an email from your team manager today? Mine has not come yet. My notes from the paperwork meeting two weeks ago show we should hear from TM today.

I start on the july 1st date :)

I am also in the July 1st iOS class. The last communication I have had was the login info for the "Info" page, nothing else since. I know equipment is supposed to be here typically Thursday or Friday before training starts, but no phone call either and I thought I recalled a comment made during the paperwork conference call that someone would be contacting in the week prior. I am just waiting. Excited for this new journey!!!

This is generally your manager making contact with you just to introduce themselves.

Confused??

Not sure if anyone can answer this, but I completed my third interview last Friday and have not received the BGC email or the "thanks for playing email". Not sure if that is good or bad. I also noticed that there has been no mention on this thread of training class starting 7/22 besides maybe one or two people. I am wondering since the 7/1 class was pushed back and the only other training classes I seem to read about is 7/8 and 7/15, that maybe 7/22 training is no longer going to happen. Not sure what to think of it.

AG, I'm in the July 8th class and we are part time. I'm guessing all of us around July will be. May be rough for a while, but you'll be making a lot more than us July 8 folks.

LOL Thanks but I doubt you'd get many ideas from my calls. I'm always getting reminded to use more empathy because it's somewhat lacking in a lot of my calls. BUT most customers like my sense of humor and the short conversations we have that are not really related to the problem. My call time can be longer than normal on occasion but the stuff gets fixed and most customers enjoyed the call.

I do employ empathy in obvious situations such as stolen/lost or broken phones but it's certainly not present in all my calls like it's supposed to be. However, both my age and the extensive traveling I've done allow me to "connect" with a lot of people that the younger reps just don't have much in common with. I do especially well with customers that are 40+ years old.

LOL. AG...still taking care of the kids? See? I'm starting to think you are in
for the long haul dude. Decided to breeze through and drop a line here
because you made a great point. My calls are a bit longer as well, but
when I hang up, the customers are glad they chose Apple and will
always feel good about sticking with the company.

I believe that is the whole point of these 300 pages of the "how do I
get hired" process. Connect with the customers and if you can squeeze
a laugh out of them at some point, you have provided customer support.

Even if the answer is you gotta call Microsoft, make em feel good and
want to get rid of everything MS related and stick with Apple.

Yep, still amazed the 6 months point is now a memory.

I'm seeing T2 in your future AG. LOL.

Just got a call from a woman at Apple Corporate for the AHA position. Interview went great on the phone, full-time, full benefits, and includes an iMac! After the first phone interview they set me up with a Skype interview with someone else from Apple.

Anything to keep in mind for the next interview this Thursday?

I checked in with the recruiting coordinator today and she said our TMs would be in touch sometime this week. Waiting more patiently now.

First let me ask, Did you receive the email specifying what Wave you are in?
In that email it will give you a number to call for the Teleconference Bridge and a link to a website to login along with the details of your login info.
Don't know if all is exactly the same but here is the schedule i got
There are three components to New Advisor Training:

1. (NEO) – Week of July 1st, 2013 (depending on your date and time scheduled by Staffing)
2. Training Orientation (T.O)– Week of July 8th, 2013 (depending on your date and time scheduled by Training)
3. New Advisor Training (NAT) - Starting on Monday, July 15th, 2013.
• The New Advisor Training Program consists of four (4) consecutive weeks; 40 hours per week. Weeks 1 – 3 are curriculum based.
• You will be required to listen and take live calls during the course of your New Advisor Training program.
• Week 4 is the “nesting” period, where you meet your Operations Team, complete required supplemental training, and take monitored and mentored customer calls. Nesting hours will mirror training.

hope this helps
