Hi everyone,

Well my hire-right packet was a week delayed because of employment verification (they couldn't reach the former employer). But after that, it took about 9 days to get the offer call. Interesting enough my offer was dated some time in july, but I didn't get a call until Aug 15th or so. So anyway, I am excited...and no need to stress. If Apple is paying for a back-ground check, and you have nothing to hide you're golden!
Good luck!

Hi ya'll. I've been following this thread, lots of useful info.

Question for the group: Has anyone who completed their final (3rd) interview the week of Aug. 6th received a call back with a job offer? I believe Hire Right submitted the background checks to Apple on or around 8/15 for this group.

I noticed some folks got the call last Thursday 8/16 for the Sept. 10th training. I'm wondering if Apple is done hiring for that position/training or if there will be a second wave of calls maybe this week for the folks that interviewed in August. Obviously no way to know for sure but I'm curious since it 't appears as though those who are vocal on this thread that got the job offer had finished their interview process by the end of July.

It seems that two weeks from hire-right submission is an accurate time-line. Mine took about that long. Interestingly enough my job offer was dated in July, but I did not get an offer call until mid August.

Passed my second interview...my third is on Monday. Excited! Anyone gotten to the third and then they said um, no...bye? Just really really excited. Brian is very cool and laid back. Easy to be yourself with.

Seems to be a resounding Apple employee trait :D

Hi all, I have been following this thread as well, because I just applied for the apple at home advisor full time here in Colorado springs. Lots of helpful info!! But my question is, I read in here that hire right verifys your employment through W2s, but what if I don't have any?? I ask because I am fairly young, and my first job in customer service was actually working at an exotic animal auction when I was under 16, it was a weekend job I got through knowing the owners granddaughter, and my second job I was just paid with cash when I got paid as I was helping an older man that owned his own drafting company before he went out of business. Should I even bother proceeding if I do hear back from them??? I applied on the 18th but haven't heard anything yet. I don't want it to hurt my chances but I don't kno if I should try anyways or just not go through with it??

I was in the same boat only I was freelancing for 12 years... no W-2's, nada. HireRight called to clarify so I told them just to submit it as "no verifiable employment" (they only go back 7 years). Apparently, it didn't seem to matter but I did explain to my Apple interviewer the work I had done during my freelance years(mostly network admin/tech support). I wouldn't worry about it... focus on the interviews. I got hired despite the fact that I have no employment background. As long as you have no criminal record the job offer depends more on your interviews than anything else.

That's nice of you to clarify. I'm sure many are pondering such a scenario. :)

If they hired me then I wouldn't worry at all about the bg check... For all intents and purposed, I have no employment record and even the college I went to shut down 20 years ago so I have no post high school education either. I still got the job. If you are going to sweat it, sweat during the time between your last interview and when you get the HirRight login e-mail. Once you get that e-mail you're in like Flynn(I'm old, what can I say?)

Hi all!! Congrats to those of you who have gotten your offer calls/emails!! This is the most dreaded awful wait ever, however I have been doing lots to keep busy. I am just curious to all of the recent new hires if you were given a training schedule and if it is a set schedule for the entire training? Also did your offer letter include your actual schedule after training? Has anyone else been given a training start date of 9/17?

Hi, my potential training start date is 9/17. I had my final interview today (via Skype) and after reading through this thread, am hoping to receive an email from Hire-right soon.

Hi guys... I am getting antsy!!
Timeline-Finished my third interview with a Hiring Manager YESTERDAY. (Thought it went well). She told me that I would be contacted by a recruiter in a week to two weeks.

Last Friday: I filled out an official application, etc before the third interview.
I have seen people already get HireRight information right away. I am getting nervous and sad. :( I have checked my junk folder and nothing... :(

It's still early. Some things don't hit your inbox until 24 hours later or so. :)

Apple In-Home Advisor

Hey Guys! First off, I'd like to thank everyone for posting their timeline for the hiring process as this is very stressful, and makes a person like myself very anxious. I applied for the 9/17 class, anyone else apply for that time period that has gotten the 'You're Hired' call? I had my last interview on 8/16 and my HireRight email was sent out that night. HireRight, says that the background check was sent to Apple on 8/17. How long to do guys think it will be until I hear something. I appreciate all the information from everyone!

You should hear something pretty quick. About an hour after I submitted the "I accept" e-mail, I got an e-mail to schedule a 45 minute "new employee paperwork" teleconference and they sent all the forms (I-9, Acceptance letter, employee packet etc.) fed-ex overnight. The I-9 has to be signed by a witness (Apple Store, Bank of America or Credit Union) and e-mailed from that institution. You have to follow up immediately with a call to make sure your I-9 is in order and then they'll send a fed-ex label to ship the rest of the signed forms. Everything must be submitted by the Wed. prior to your starting date.

Hi - Think you've got another week or so to wait, the last wave of us that applied for the 9/10 training (submitted HR content on 9/15) should get the yay or nay phone call this week, I believe then they'll move on to the 9/17 folks. Speculation anyway.....
