Well, I just finished with the paperwork session and she was very insistent that if we had any questions regarding the paperwork process, we should just call that number. I would just go the I-9 verification route and tell them you want to confirm they have everything, not just the I-9, and that there weren't any other options. I'm sure it will be fine. Better to do that than to have missing paperwork. Just my opinion, of course. :)

Ugh. I'm an idiot. I didn't even think about the fact that they gave me a shipping label. I pulled the tracking number from the label. It was delivered. The lady on the phone said that no news is good news and if I haven't heard anything that just means there was nothing wrong with my paperwork.

Ha!! I thought about that, but I haven't gotten that far with sending the paperwork back, so I didn't know the label/tracking number process. Regardless, I'm sure it's all good. Everyone seems more than happy to provide new employees with info. :)

3rd Interview- playing the waiting game

Waited from 2nd Interview (Thursday 7-18) to today for an email that states time of 3rd interview. They said it would come late tonite but I am still checking email constantly! Arg this waiting is killing me.
I did ok on 2nd Interview but forgot the answer to an obvious question on STMP and POP3 differences. So I re-read older posts here....and customer service/cust satisfaction is the most important not our technical answers so hopefully my missed answer won't effect decision for 3rd interview.
I want this sooooo much! Like we all do.
THANK YOU for that link to the questions post - I am studying like nuts! I printed it out and I can't find it now but its GREAT! Can someone re-post that link... Might help others.
Anywho - fingers , toes, eyes crossed!:rolleyes:

Just got done with my 2 nd interview I have no idea how I did. I hope I get it I was told I'd get a new link on the 3rd interview. Start date would be September 9th it's part time so I think it would be IOS.
How long does it take to get the 3rd interview email?

I think it has varied greatly. I got my third interview link very quickly--I think it was the same night. I've read that some have taken much longer. Congrats on being done with the 2nd interview!

My only question is: Do we get paid for the paperwork session?
We were essentially on Apple time.
Didn't feel like asking that in the phone conference.

I'm sooo worried I'm not going to get the 3rd interview because I think I got some answers wrong. I'm a good tech I know it. The interview was short I think. 15 minuets I think was way too short

Any info

What was the language like at the end of your interview? The recruiter I spoke with during my second interview was amazing and super friendly. He told me that I would be moving on to the third round and then I just waited for the email link to schedule it.

I received an email from the recruiter today that states that it is a good thing if you do not hear from Apple after you have sent it in, this means that they have no issue with the paperwork. Best practice: follow the tracking number to make sure it was delivered, hopefully you followed the instructions to have your I-9 verified before mailing it out.

Finally!!

After a verrrrry long process, I finally received the offer call, and email. I was suppose to start 7/15, but since my background took forever, i'm now set for the 8/26 training class. Although the date is push back over a month, none the less i'm grateful for the offer :D

I had my 2nd interview Thurs 7-18 and I am supposed to get email re; 3rd interview tonite.....so 3 work days

Just got my 3rd interview email. I hope I do ok at the roll playing not good at it IMO. Any advice on that? I'm not an actor lol

does anybody know of someone has had a background check and passed it and still not gotten the apple home adviser job?

Timeline for me

July 7 - Applied on Apple Website
July 8 - Got a call from recruiter and had 10 min interview where she passed me along to a second interview
July 10 - Had second interview for 20 mins over Skype from there she passed me to a third.
July 19 - Had third interview for roughly 45 mins over Skype. Went extremely well and she seemed very impressed with my answers and the way we role played.
July 22 - Received HireRight email about 1:30 and just filled it out and submitted it.

Question - I have worked for several companies back in the day but did not include them in my check they were just pointless jobs from high school. This shouldn't effect anything? Also what is the consensus on how long this process will take?

Will be in the Aug 26th full time iOS class if hired. So stoked.

July 25th. :D Only thing I'm not sure is the role-playing Im more of a serious person. Seems childish to me IDK why.
But ill go back and review the questions they might ask and prepare for it.

Its the way they get a feel of how your empathy is and how you will be able to handle people
