The second interview via skype or FaceTime will consist of some chit chat and some technical questions like;
1. What's the difference of RAM and ROM
2. What's hardware
3. What's an operating system
4. What type of computer do you use and what's its specs
5. How would you troubleshoot email not being sent (answer: check outgoing server settings)

Go back about 20/30 post on this thread and there are a lot more questions asked. Good luck :)

i got stuck on this one but i answered it as good as i could .. this is a tricky question because this answer would really only apply if you're not using a web based e-mail interface

i answered it as if the person was using it web-based , which made it harder to troubleshoot .

I was wondering for those starting the 9/24 class if you have heard anything yet. We were told in the phone conference that we should hear from our managers on 9/17-9/18 and I have not heard anything yet.

I received an email from my Team Lead introducing himself :). Have you checked your email? I know we're supposed to get our equipment 9/20 or 9/21 so I figured the email is all I'm getting from my Team Lead.

Thanks. I submitted mine at 3:00pm est time yesterday. Long wait ahead but well
Worth it ;)

Mine took a full 4 days. For some it goes faster. If you have moved a lot and lived in several different states it will take a few days. They do a national sweep, and then they look in the states and counties you have lived. Good luck, and you can check the status with them at any time.

----------

Thank you Wylie alllllll the way from Garland! :)

Cool, I'm only about 5 miles from Firewheel.

This is day 8 for me

It took 13 days for my background check clearance. One county responded at snail-paced. So the timing may depend on the procedures of individual counties that HireRight seeks information from. In that county, the sheriff dep't and the county courts provided the information. Guess, the coffee and doughnuts slowed them down. (I know the inside scoop from experience ("I'll do that later attitudes....")) :D

I have been checking my email including my spam. I guess maybe I should email someone and make sure they have not forgotten about me :( It's already after 4 my time, so I am getting a little concerned.

Also received welcome email from team manager :) Home all day tomorrow and Friday waiting on my boxes of wonder, lol.

I am excited too. I have been going crazy because I am ready to start working. I am one of those that have to stay busy all the time  I guess we will be classmates! :)

Yeah, looks like it. Fingers crossed for awesome training experience. :apple:

I haven't heard anything yet either. It's still early assuming Apple folks are calling/emailing from California.

Haha I have my boyfriend at home waiting for that, since I'm going to be working my last day here on Friday. Did you respond to your email from your Team lead or did you just take it as an introduction. I thought about replying back, but didn't know if they'd want us to.

My team lead said to email, call or text her anytime so I'm sure it would be fine to email back.

LOL...My Team Manager just called. It was an Austin, TX area code. I was expecting a California one. She left a voice mail and sent a follow-up email message with all the info about next week. :)

The email was flagged as spam. :( Check your spam folder and don't rush to empty it.

I did reply because an attachment he said was on the email was not. So I just sent back a hey thanks for the welcome isn't something missing.....otherwise I took it as just an introduction also.

Today was my last day at old job. They were so sweet, I'm going to miss them.

To anyone that got the job, how long is the final interview? What kind of things are covered? I just want to make sure I am 110% prepared! Thanks!

My third interview he started by telling me what was involved with position and then he ask me four questions.

- Tell me about your employment history
- What type of computer do you have and whats the cpu and the hardware within it
- Troubleshoot mac mail
- Troubleshoot can't connect to internet

That was it.

I wouldn't worry about it, just be yourself.

Got the Kelly interview out of the way finally! What a disaster. The recruiter calls me this morning, as planned to do interview and 5 minutes into it says "Can you please hold a moment"..Comes back to the phone and says "I have horrible news. We do not hire in New Mexico" I told her "But on your website it specified Albuquerque?" and we hung up. Approximately an hour later, same woman calls back and says pretty much "Oh nevermind that is for a different city in NM due to their wage changes we do not hire in that city. You are fine" DOUBLE  Rescheduled the interview for the afternoon and accomplished interview. Staring at email waiting for onboarding email to submit HireRight. I feel like Al Bundy waiting for a pizza lol

You have a very good point. Pointed noted. Just one of those days where a person has word vomit without thinking first.
