Got the Kelly interview out of the way finally! What a disaster. The recruiter calls me this morning, as planned to do interview and 5 minutes into it says "Can you please hold a moment"..Comes back to the phone and says "I have horrible news. We do not hire in New Mexico" I told her "But on your website it specified Albuquerque?" and we hung up. Approximately an hour later, same woman calls back and says pretty much "Oh nevermind that is for a different city in NM due to their wage changes we do not hire in that city. You are fine" DOUBLE  Rescheduled the interview for the afternoon and accomplished interview. Staring at email waiting for onboarding email to submit HireRight. I feel like Al Bundy waiting for a pizza lol

LMAO!!!! Good omen or not?!??!! Best of luck to you!

So while I wait for background check to be completed my hubby decided to take me to NC for the weekend so I can see my Marine Corps son, daughter in law and grandson. Can't wait and it will be a much needed distraction :)

I think there is a problem with the hiring team for the Allentown, PA position. I don't know of anyone - on this forum or personally - who has applied and moved through the process.

*sigh* I'm getting discouraged.

Oh well. :(

It sounds like the background check may be the scariest part of the process! You can control how an interview goes but you can't control the background check or even if the information is correct. Scary Mary.

I heard that from someone else about the Allentown and in one other city as well. Very odd. I saw someone say to try a different city but I can neither confirm or deny if that works or not.

The positions have been posted 3 times. I've tried other cities now. It is very odd indeed. I just checked Apple's site and now the date posted is "23-April-2012". When I first applied it was August 13 and I know it was posted before that in July. and after on August 29th. hmm??

I think they just add random cities. Where you're working from shouldn't really matter .

ugh the waiting!!!

man it seems like the waiting is just getting to me!!
two weeks from 2nd interview to 3rd seems like a LONG time to wait!
my 3rd is on 9/24 and i feel like it has been a month since the last one.(which was last week :D)

I guess what i am trying to understand is why do all these interviews then background check, wouldn't :apple: eliminate the people sooner if they did the check prior to 3rd interview and technically kill two birds with one stone as they are a two week wait between interviews anyways?

*********************************************************
And for all those wanting to know timelines.....
applied 9/1 3am
email with 12 questions 9/3 10pm
first interview/phone call 9/7 3pm
facetime interview 9/11 3:15p
email for application and 3rd interview set up 9/11 4:15p
3rd interview facetime 9/24
possible start date 10/29

You Got Paid!

Okay, I'm a little antsy and am notorious for jumping the gun. I know awhile ago someone touched on this subject and forgive me for the digression: FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY COMMENCED WORK/TRAINING WITH APPLE AND HAVE RECEIVED A PAYCHECK, can you provide insight on the following two issues:

1. What day did you get paid on and is it on a bi-weekly pay schedule?

2. When you make it to production (or if you'e already there), do you get a set or routine schedule/shift or is it flexible each week or every two weeks or so? Yep, I know you [we] must be available during peak times if Apple deems fit for you to jump on the phones.

Thanks so much! :apple:

I have a friend who's been doing this job with apple for about 8 months. I will text him later and ask. I know he is working 4 ten hour shifts now and off Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

I'd like to add to that question, coming out of training, I assume you bid on a shift, how are they awarded?

Anyone else waiting on an official application email?!?!?

If senility is not kicking in right now, I think I recall getting that email a few hours (maybe a day or so) after getting the email to schedule the third interview session.

The aniticpation for the third interview (week away) and the anticipation for the app is driving my anxiety up! Not to mention the background check making me nervous. I cant imagine getting declined because hireright receives false information.

I can tell you that the 9/24 class won't get paid until 10/15. I thought I read somewhere that employees are paid twice a month (15th and 30th).

Edit: Should be 10/12. Guess employees are paid every other Friday.

On a Monday and a Tuesday? Interesting.

Relax and don't anticipate the worst!
