I can tell you that the 9/24 class won't get paid until 10/15. I thought I read somewhere that employees are paid twice a month (15th and 30th).

The 9/24 people will get paid on the 12th. It's in our welcome email.

Got my equipment. Top of the line iMac I must say. Too bad we can't use it outside of work lol. Obviously I did not wait until Monday to unbox everything.

Thanks, I meant the 12th. I was too focused on the 15th and 30th thing. :)

I'm concerned that there is a log file which can be retrieved to determine when you first logged in. They can remote into your machine when you use VPN to access the network. Seems strange that they would stress not opening the stuff until the first day of training at 9:00. Unless you're saying you just opened it and nothing else.

I need to pack up my Kelly stuff and return it. Make room for the real deal. I was in production for a couple of weeks. As I mentioned previously, too much is expected of you for $9.15/hour and no benefits. They've been pushing people to sign up for more than 40 hours. Yesterday they sent out an email every hour telling you to sign up for more work. It was like spamming. Major turn off. Oh, and everyone received a $10 coupon for pizza from Dominoes. Major hype around that.

Did anyone receive FedEx tracking info or did a delivery just show up? Would be helpful to know if it's out for delivery or not.

I was wondering for those starting the 9/24 class if you have heard anything yet. We were told in the phone conference that we should hear from our managers on 9/17-9/18 and I have not heard anything yet.

I start on 9/24 and I have received all my emails and calls.. Just waiting on my equipment.

Received the onboarding email and filled out the background check info. Holy cow trying to remember exact dates is difficult! I can give months and year but I can't remember the day I graduated high school. I have had three kids and slept since then lol ... Now the never ending waiting period starts all over again.................

I got mine today and I plan on trying to get most stuff set up when I get off work tonight. I just won't turn it on. They're insane if they expect some of the less experienced people to set up the whole thing on Monday in a half an hour before they have to call in at 10:30 haha.

I know I've read a couple thousand pages back that a few people unboxed and tinkered with their equipment prior to their start date. I have yet to hear of anyone being disciplined for it, so I sincerely hope it is not a possibility. I powered it on to check it out, because as another person said, setting up an office in 30 minutes in not realistic. There is more to it than putting the iMac on the desk and plugging it up, at least for me.

Well, I sent an email to my team manager asking how to obtain tracking info. I need to leave the house for a couple of hours. Will stick around if I know the items are out for delivery. *sigh* Would hate to return home to see that slip on the front door. Then would have to hang around all day tomorrow.

.

if there is a log file that can determine when you use your PC i can assure you they can see 75% of the things you do on there such as website logs and keylogs. how long and how often you're using specific programs.

now whether they choose to see all that is up to them

Oh, I totally agree. I've learned a lot from being with Kelly. They told us they have the capability to see everything you've done and are currently doing. That's why I always had my personal laptop up and running during work hours. I never accessed anything on my work computer that was not related to working for Apple.

The instructions re the stress of a specific opening and setting up time is interesting..... As for Kelly, LMAO! You know how much I "LOVE" KellyConnect (trying very hard not to find fault with Kelly Services as a whole though for I have a very strong rapport with one of its recruiting directors for a different entity) after how I was treated! I want to send a thank you card to the KellyConnect training delivery manager and her training team for doing me the great indirect favor of opening the door so I could land a job with Apple for more pay with benefits!!! Bias comment, INDEED, IT IS!!! LOL {Yep, hope they are reading this and don't give a rat's ___ if I disclosed my identity!! LOL}

you're right , it takes a about 2 min. to unbox everything and 5 minutes to hook up all the cables .. more like 7 minutes lol

it's really not that difficult guys ... i'm starting to worry about apple and how they're choosing their candidates

nothing is more frustrating than calling a help line and i know more than the other person on the other line. extremely irritating and hurts the company's reputation

What if, just what if, let's say, you have a problem connecting to your internet via the Ethernet connection? Now what? It's time to call in..... If you had stopped after "lol," I would have kept my thoughts to myself... Jeez, why can't we just get along....

I know what you mean. I dread dealing with Tier 1 support because I've already done everything they prompt you to do. Sometimes I say, just transfer me to Tier 2 and in some cases Tier 3. Sooooo much time wasted trying to get to the most advanced tier necessary.

Ditto! I worked for a judicial system with those kind of "big brother is watching you" software in place.

Sounds like my telephone company....LOL

then they'll try to "push a hit" to the modem

But in 7 minutes? hmmmmmm. I'll say setting up 30 minutes in advance may be prudent.

First off, you're obviously a dick. Second, you clearly do not currently work out of a home office, if you did you would know what I am talking about. I have a ton of equipment already so the iMac isn't the only part of the equation. Now try to be courteous in this forum. It'll be good practice for a customer service position.

@sk2bbb: jlb13085 meant that in a "courteous" way! See, I told you that you should have stopped after "lol." LOL "Can't we all just get along?" I like this forum, I really do! :):D

I just had 2nd interview through Skype with the recruiter, Susan, yesterday.
She told me that I was being sent onto the Hiring Manager.

I received the email this morning to setup my 3rd interview with the Hiring Manager. So, that is setup for next Thursday.

I have previous call center/customer service experience along with Work at Home inbound experience, so here's hoping for the best.

On a side note, she told me that I would be support OSX and desktop models and laptops.
