This waiting is crazy!!! I wonder if the delay is because of the problems they've been having with the new phone
Never had kids so I'm not a grandpa. I also hate hip hop music and frequently tell kids to get off my lawn so I'm not cool either.

The hip hop music reference and the "get off my lawn" thing was meant as a joke and "cool" is subjective at best. I would certainly hope there is more to me than my on line persona suggests and angrygerbil was an Unreal Tournament game handle I used many moons ago.

This. They will stress empathy over and over again. The really successful reps are the ones that 1. walk, talk and breathe Apple 2. have a pleasant and cheerful phone presence and 3. have above average soft skills*. I have no idea why they hired me because I am none of the above. I would not have hired me but I wasn't the one interviewing me. I'll do the best I can until I can jump back into network admin stuff but I'm a tech guy, not a customer service type.
* soft skills include being convincingly empathetic

A couple people from work have gotten offer calls for nov 5th.
I'm 10/22 (hopefully) no offer call because a small town can't tell hireright that the court record is for a speeding ticket
I have my final interview for the 11/5 start tomorrow. Sounds like things are getting done quickly. Hopefully I get the BC email!
