Never this early - usually earliest is Mon/Tues after preOrder night.
I pre-ordered at 10am yesterday morning and it is still Order in Progress, is that normal? (First time pre-ordering an iPhone).

I ordered mine four hours earlier. It is the same way. It's apparently common. What does your delivery say. Mine says "Delivers on 22 September 2017, by Next Day Shipping."
I honestly don't expect to see movement until monday at the earliest.

You're in good company here. Most of us are Apple fans, without going off the deep end to fanboy-dom. I followed these forums with last years preorder. I decided to join this year, and participate in the fun.
last year mine said order order in progress till the day before release then said shipped all of a sudden lol, sometimes apple does that but don't worry expect to have it the day of release if thats what the date says for you
Yeah last year my iPhone 7 came on launch day and the order changed to delivered 2 days after it came. As a pre order vet it's normal but if it's your 1st time people will panic when they see no movement.
This is what mine says (ordered 10am yesterday morning) - I did an early IUP upgrade (started on May 2016 so way past 12 months):
Mine doesn't say 21st or 22nd

What's the process with double loan payments for the month of Sept on IUP. My 7plus loan posts on the 19th and I'm assuming my new loan will also post this month. Do we just call Citizens for the credit? Or is it done automatically. Thx!

what is the link that you are you using. because i can only see the active devices i'm signed in on.
Yep, mine says the same thing, too, and I ordered at 3:02 am EDT. You'll see some movement in the next few days unless it already happens to be stateside (assuming you're in the US). Mine started off here a few launches ago and it was such a bummer, watching everyone else get to track their phones over from China while mine sat in Nashville until like the day before delivery.
Mine just changes from in progress to preparing to ship
Mine went from processing to preparing to ship while I was showering. So around 12:33PST.
Since I put my apple order on my Deliveries App and got notified.
Question now is whether it's fedex for UPS for me. Most of my Apple orders has been Fedex. so I hope so. Because then on Thursday night, I will do a hold for pick up and will pick it up at the Fedex office on Friday.

Yeah FedEx does most of our Apple shipments here. It sucks because they usually come the latest of all the carriers ... sometimes even at 7-8pm. lol.

hm really? UPS is always the latest by far in my area.
in the meantime, check your status. JUST DO IT!!
Yea but I usually request hold for pick up and they get to the fed ex office between 9 am to 10 am so I wouldn't have any issues waiting.
