Ordered a gray/64GB/iPhone 8/ at around 11am here in Mexico. I'll get it the 22nd.
Good

My phone just changed to preparing for shipment. My card was charged for the phone within minutes of my order. I also ordered a $9 headphone adapter and my card was charged separately about an hour later and it changed to preparing for shipment then.

Nice, I was just going to ask, I put my order in this morning (10am) but it still says Order in Progress. Was just going to ask how long this was going to be before changing status and my card gets charged (first time pre-ordering an iPhone).

I ordered a iPhone 8 plus, 256GB black at exactly 3:05 eastern in Canada and it says order is processing, no charges on my credit card either yet, but pickup window slot if the first one at 8am

For those who ordered online for in-store pick up, it will stay Order in Progress till Thursday then it will change to "Ready for Pick up" on Friday.

I ordered a gold 8 Plus 256GB at about 3:07 am. My order is still in progress, though I have yet to receive a confirmation email from Apple. PayPal has had the total charge pending all day with no changes yet :/

Yeah my credit card hasn't been charged the $13x for the early Apple Upgrade Plan charge either. I have a feeling us 256GB'ers are going to be later than the others? :p

Relax, you will get notified when it's ready. So your status won't change till at least sometime Thursday evening to Friday early morning before 8 am. You will get another e-mail notifying you.

What if they dont have stock and giving delay 1-2 weeks
Man ... this not right ..

apple should do when preorder pickup then 100% layway - no matter what they must has a iphone on that day ....

Never know ... sometime apple employee take that phone and sale it to customer they like in store and delay your iphone , that happend too

Not sure why you are overly concerned about this. I'm looking at the apple website and most apple store I see shows plenty of stock as it still shows "Available for pick up: Sept 22". Plus they can't give that one to another customer if you already purchased it.

Mines still says "processing" as well. Hopefully it will change to "shipped" soon. Eh as long as I get it Friday like it says, I'm a happy camper!
Ah...I see you picked sim free, huh? You were confused about it before. Looks like you are determined. cool.
