FedEx delivered my 6S in my area around lunch time. Hopefully sooner this year!
I got my order in for 22nd pickup at the store.
Yeah! That answers a question I, incorrectly, posted in a thread I created. But, I'm sure it will be kicked out. I wanted to know if online pre orders could be picked up in the store and this answers it for me. I can't recall seeing that option in my previous online pre orders. At what point in the pre order process does that option pop up?
Yeah I didn't mean to bash FedEx. Our local FedEx guy is really really cool. I just think we are at the end of his delivery area. Lol
Did you order online through your computer or through the Apple Store app on your device? I wasn't as lucky with my 6S Plus and got it after launch even though I went online as soon as it opened up.

Ordered space grey iPhone 8 256 GB for 8 AM pickup at Apple Store next Friday
Great! From what I saw, online and in the Apple Store after asking, the space gray is really matte black. I still like it better than the sliver though.
I ordered from AT&T for my 6S through a rep. This time I did it through my computer at work and enrolled in the IUP program
My order now says preparing to ship!
This is what mine says (ordered 10am yesterday morning) - I did an early IUP upgrade (started on May 2016 so way past 12 months):
Mine doesn't say 21st or 22nd
don't be alarmed, happened to me last year I was a week after launch but apple managed to get it to me the Monday after release, the estimated dates usually it come before those dates after launch so keep your hopes up.
I believe when you send the other phone back you will get a credit for the last payment (since it's the 13th).

My order has moved to Preparing for Shipping at some point today. I ordered mine at about 2:04 am CDT. Not going to be much drama this year. I have a feeling most will get their phones on Friday. This thread for the iPhone X will be much more entertaining.
My order status probably updated way earlier today, but I've been too busy to check until now. WOOO ready for shipment!

"If I upgrade to a new iPhone, what happens to my existing iPhone Upgrade Program monthly payments?
In order to give you time to trade in your previous iPhone, the monthly payments for your existing iPhone Upgrade Program will pause once your new iPhone ships."
So hopefully yours ships before the 19th! If anything I would contact Apple Support to be sure.

My payments are currently the 19th and I wasn't going to order a new phone if they made you double pay without some sort of credit
I see that a lot of people are going with the 8 Plus my regular 8 is also preparing to ship! Though mine says standard shipping instead of next day shipping, any difference between the two on launch day?

It's just a different carrier service level. The customer delivery date should stay the same.
