I never liked the Friday delivery, I mean, I usually Do the pickup at the customer center, but if there were to be a situation that couldn’t make it work, and I’d miss a truck delivery, I’d be out of luck til Monday. At least a Wednesday delivery will give a pad instead of having to wait over a weekend.
I’m kind of actually hoping the delivery sticks to Friday. My new iMac is arriving tomorrow, and I need uninterrupted time to get acquainted!!! 🤣
I’m still seeing an error message when I attempt to change my 10/21 delivery to pick up at my local UPS Customer Center: "We're sorry, but it seems we're experiencing technical issues. Please refresh your screen or try again later" and it says available for pickup Friday.

mines been stuck since Saturday... I’m not worried this is earlier than usual. Yours happened 24 hours later. I’m sure it’s just staging.
I had same issue last year. Tried about 4 times and got same error. Then all of a suden the day before launch, the change showed up 4 times on it, picked at the cc on Friday morning. A UPS person said that sometimes the system lags around the iphone demand
It was under "My Support - My Devices". Once Apple had assigned an item to you, it would put the serial number in your apple account.
Nope. It will fly out of Zhengzhou, CN, next stop is either Incheon, South Korea, or Anchorage AK.
Zhengzhou to Shanghai by road is about 9h30m. Given some road conditions in China, plus the value of cargo, I doubt they would entrust a local courier to move iPhone cargo on surface roads over such a long distance. If Shanghai is the intermediate point, they would almost definitely fly the cargo there.
Mine departed at 11:27 pm CN , and still shows a 10/21 delivery date. Every year things have been on point , this is a first with a early delivery date showing.. it’s been a pretty crazy year tho ?
Order confirmation email received at 8:01am. Got my tracking number via using phone number as a reference number. Package currently departing ZhengZhou and set for delivery 10/21. That would be a much welcomed surprise, but I doubt that will happen.

Strange that mine only shows last 4 digits of tracking # on UPS and states in transit, delivery scheduled 10-21 just odd that I can’t click on the tracking info or see the full tracking number.
Possibly South Korea. UPS actually has a CGO to ICN flight M-F. This is from the Monday listing of flights, from the CGO airport official website.
After participating in these threads for years, this is the first time ive ever seen this many people with 10/21 dates. As for me, im 10/21 too. Ive never had a date before launch date.
Exactly same here. Order confirmation is received at 08:01 and UPS is showing 10/21 Wednesday delivery. Departed ZhengZhou at 11:27 PM
How was it in previous years? I see people commenting here as UPS will be holding them. Has anyone received pre release day delivery from UPS in previous years?
It arrived early for me last year on the tracking updates. But UPS is under contract for Friday delivery. I received it on Friday.
sure... some folks can get them early. But it isn’t often and it is rare.
