How was it in previous years? I see people commenting here as UPS will be holding them. Has anyone received pre release day delivery from UPS in previous years?

They have always been on time at release date. They arrive and hold at local warehouses, been like this for me since 5s.
Maybe others have diff exp.

solid enthusiasm for this release since the 6.

edit: i do know of sprint customers who got theirs day early but i think that was rare.

Any recommendations for a decent car mount for the iPhone? The one I have now (bought from a gas station in Yosemite) keeps slipping out of the vent. Luckily my iPhone 7 is a horse and it hasn't affected it that much. But I want a better quality one for the 12 pro.


Really waiting for Belkin's MagSafe mount but looking for a decent/sturdy one in the meanwhile.

I'm a big fan of Kenu mounts. If you so happen to be in NYC, I would be happy to meet up to give you one. I have extras I don't use anymore since the Tesla nav system is great.

Same here. How quickly did you get your order in and how quickly did you receive the order confirmation email?

I had my order inn, with in seconds , I was set up with 1 click buy option & it actually didn’t freeze lol. Same with confirmation. I dunno this year has just been to smooth almost

I did order Accessories, but got linked to fedex tracking for those.. my iPhone is ups & shows 10/21 on my app & when I track it on their site..

MagSafe charger and Clear case show shipped with 10/21 delivery on Apple, but UPS shows 10/19 delivery (coming out of Louisville)

Possibly South Korea. UPS actually has a CGO to ICN flight M-F. This is from the Monday listing of flights, from the CGO airport official website.

UPS doesn’t use their standard flights for the iPhones. They always use Charters and additional flights for the extra volume. According to My Choice this is the case again this year.

It will stay “Preparing to Ship” until the day before delivery. Apples site won’t give you tracking this early.
You need to track by reference.

I was thinking that maybe the accessories were being linked with the phone shipping and that is why it was showing 10/21 delivery date instead of 10/23.

So my iPhone Upgrade Program payment is supposed to go through tomorrow for my iPhone 11 Pro and I just got the confirmation email. My iPhone 12 Pro payment starts Tuesday. Is anyone else in this boat? Found a way out?

same situation payment scheduled for tomorrow and new phone arrives Friday. Not sure how to proceed? Basically losing a month here

Mine departed at 11:27 pm CN , and still shows a 10/21 delivery date. Every year things have been on point , this is a first with a early delivery date showing.. it’s been a pretty crazy year tho ?

Same time, I got the silver 256GB 12 Pro. Still slated for potential early delivery on Wednesday but still expecting it to be Friday. Now I just have to figure out the plane tracking thing again!

Thanks, I just checked. It just shows as In transit Arrived at Facility ZhengZhou, China. Not showing a delivery date yet.

It was under "My Support - My Devices". Once Apple had assigned an item to you, it would put the serial number in your apple account.

I remember there was a trick to see your serial number on your apple account when you phone was shipped, but i can’t find where. Does anyone know?

sure it has, at least to me, but logistics is kind of interesting, and I imagine it’s like tracking Santa on Christmas Eve.

I ordered my new Pacific Blue iPhone12 Pro Friday night. They tell me delivery by November 12. Seems weird. Of course, I ordered from AT&T. That might be the difference.
