One of the worst feelings was waking up at 2:50am to get my preorder in for the 7+ to receive on launch day and not get it on the original date I was quoted. In the end, my phone was still sitting in the UPS warehouse in KY for 1.5 weeks, and I had to reach out to higher ups at T-Mobile on Twitter to have my phone overnighted and a $100 credit on my account. From that moment on I was hesitant to preorder through T-Mobile again for the iPhone X, but it worked out fine and I was the first of my friends and coworkers to receive mine on launch day. From this year forward, I’m going to preorder through Apple.
Same here. It shows no real updates in the last couple of days. And before it said delivery 10-21. Now it says scheduled delivery not available.🤷🏻♂️
I used to be one of those who got a screen protector at the moment of phone purchase. After so many years, I decided to stop. I saved a TON of money and I love the feel of the natural screen. I haven't scratched or cracked a screen - ever. Truth. I trade my phones in every time I upgrade. Zero issues because the screen is perfect.
If you're one to throw your phone around in a bag or purse, or keep it in a pocket with other items, I'd agree, you'd need one.

Mine left Anchorage last night but hasn’t scanned into Louisville yet. Also, the delivery date updated from 10/21 to 10/23. I guess no early iPhone! Would have been cool to get it on my one year wedding anniversary, although my husband might not think so! 😂
there is an option at time of checkout for upgraded launch day delivery. you just have to select it.
not surprising. mine sat in Louisville last year for 3 days before it had a scan again. I wouldn't worry.
oh, I’m not. I‘ve upgraded At launch every year for the last 10 years. I know the drill. You always hope it will come early though!
definitely. I struck out this year and tried to do an in store pickup. it seems the store had more orders than inventory and mine was cancelled on Monday. luckily I found Walmart with launch day delivery, otherwise, I was going to be out of luck
Bummer, but I’m glad you got one! I had a snafu with a one of my 3 am orders once and ended up at a Target, so I get it! ☺️
No news from UPS other than delivery date...
Got my Wed 21st AM delivery email at 5:40PM, when the website had already changed to the 23rd an hour before.
This is the hardest part, you know it can move, but it doesn't or they purposely don't update the status.

Sorry I disagree that the case would be sweet. Once I ordered orange case, tasted it and it was so bitter & bland I can't explain it.
I most likely has to do with location then. Anyway, 27th is still better than some of the other dates I have seen from Apple and Verizon.
Basically since I haven’t heard anything from UPS from a day or two. I know all of the sudden Wed or Thurs it will show up. And say it is being held till Friday. But I agree. Like some ppl hear have said. It hasn’t been as fun tracking this year. Like it has in the past. 😂🤷🏻♂️
Take the screenshot and take off tomorrow. If they don't come to deliver by 1pm go to UPS CC and show them screenshot and tell them you took off from work. If they don't give you the iPhone then call Apple and tell them your story. Apple might allow you to get it tomorrow as an one time exception. Now email your boss, go to sleep fast and don't track anymore.
