Did anyone else notice that the fast charger that came with the 11 pro doesn’t fast charge the iPhone 12? I didn’t know until I read an article about it. You have to buy the 20w adapter. LAME

Yeah, I saw that but I’m not big on “fast charging” per say. I normally charge it at night

My graphite 12 Pro arrived a little before 7 last night, opened the box and put it aside until this morning. It’s now set up and seems a nice replacement for my (cracked screen) XS Max. I think I will be very happy with the slightly smaller size, but the silicone case will be replaced as soon as I find something else I like. Swarovski still don’t have any for the 12/Pro yet 😁.

Case-Mate has several cases with crystals in them! I got a couple of their bling cases for the Pro Max.

Yes, turn off FindMyPhone on your old phone but also, power down your old one before turning on the 12 Pro to start setup. I found the Verizon support article on activating: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-235468/

Yep, that's what I always do. For some reason, I couldn't get the phone to activate, so I had to contact Verizon support to get it done.

I pulled my SIM from my 11 Pro to use in my 12 Pro and got the attached text from Verizon sayings to activate the 5G SIM instead. My good friend and her mother activated their 12 Pros with their X sitting in the same room, not powered down. No issues for them. No calls to Verizon needed

Did they use the SIM card from their X or the one that came in the 12 Pro?

I've talked to Apple about my lost phone in the UPS system. They tell me it takes four days to order a replacement. I imagine that's because the current phone could show up yet. If you haven't talked to Apple I would certainly do that at this point. Good luck.

Same story but they told me a little bit differently. Apple told me they can’t do anything unless three business day has past from set delivery date. I’ll see what happens Next few days. UPS just put mine on Next day Air. Hope day found something from their warehouse.

I was worried about this. Im on an X, and went with the regular 12 because its lighter, and I love the real black color. Not worth the extra weight and minor camera differences to me to have the pro

Help! I ordered an iPhone 12 Pro from Apple. I am getting a UPS Exception. It says going through clearance and that they have submitted documents to government agency and are awaiting a response. What does thus mean ? Will I get my phone?

That’s a standard procedure. When is your estimated delivery date from Apple?

Oooh thanks! The only thing is that I work all day and I’m the only person they rely on to be in the office so I’d still be waiting all day!

I guess it would save me the stress of “when will it be here” or “stalking the UPS driver”

I’m so glad all of this is happening in late October…

Good luck to you guys in November doing the pre-orders on the max or mini. I know you were going to be getting a max as well.

I hate that they don’t go out until 11/16 but if you lock it in for that particular date you shouldn’t have as much stress with UPS/Christmas deliveries.

Or if this preorder experience has taught us anything it’s to just do the in-store pick up.

I’m going to research which CC center is closest and what their hours are.

OMG. You just reminded us if we don’t get Launch Day phones next month, we will be competing with Christmas deliveries too! Got to get 11/13 delivery!

Depending on your carrier and what band your on it’s fine especially with one bar.

Did they actually order you a replacement, or you mean they won’t do that until 4 days have passed since Friday?

They told me that they ordered the replacement but the order will not go through for four days because the original phone may still be delivered. It's my impression that I will be informed in four days that the new order is being processed without a new call from me. That's from two Apple representatives that I spoke to. If that doesn't happen they'll get a fairly irate call from me.

How come it was sent for clearance twice in China itself. I thought second clearance happens when it hits US.

Looks like I’m going through this preorder madness again in 2 weeks.

I like the 12P but I do sorta miss the real estate of the 11PM. Indecisive but I’m only 24 hrs in and have some time to think on it.

I have found that UPS is usually more accurate than Apple on delivery dates

Well its too small for me. For others it may not be. I’ve had Max version for quite some time and going from 11 PRO Max to Pro makes a huge difference. Its the overall difference between the width and height. But when I was ordering this iPhone 12 I knew what I was expecting. overall, it’s not that bad because it is super fast. But the Max version is the ideal size for me. I like big screen. it’s easier to text, watch movies, type and so much more.

Agreed. I have the 12 pro right now and coming from the 11 pro max, I miss the battery life and larger screen, especially where I am, 5g is all over.

Yes sir! I am in the same boat, I will be swapping it out for the bigger one, don’t be ashamed, I also thought this size was gonna be perfect, then I realize I miss the battery life and the screen real estate , the decision is up to you ultimately.

Ugh... same here, man. Both of our orders are in transit at approximately the same timeline.

I’ll say this... my MagSafe clear case was shipped standard and Apples date was 10/21. It was out for delivery by the 19th and I got it on the 20th.

Other folks on here have stated that Apple under promises and over delivers from time to time.

Let’s hope we both get lucky 🤞🏻
