The only thing shown is my AirPods Pro and Apple Watch (unless I’m in a bad neighborhood where I put my AirPods Pro away. We’re only allowed to use one so we can still be alert which I totally am for. I want the S6 for my birthday in December. Also do you think the S7 next year will be major upgrade over the S6?
As to the watch, I haven’t seen anything from the leakers (that I recall) about a major update, although several members here believe that if Apple follows current watch history, next year may come with a new design. I am not sure that will happen unless the microLED technology has advanced enough for Apple to do so, not to mention battery. From what I can see, Apple has slowly been reducing components so as to make room for more sensors. The big hindrance at the moment, is the battery size to efficiency ratio which, Apple has slowly been chipping away at (pun intended). At this point, it is all a complete guessing game about next year. To me, life is too short to wait around for all the what ifs to be answered. Some of us might not be around. You never know.

Too early for me. I want to see what they are really offering this year. Skipped last year and it was the first year I never got the new phone. My XS Max is just fine. Not ready to drop 1K plus on a phone that isn’t much different than the one I have now.

Exactly how I feel, still on the XS Max..I skipped last year also, but hoping that 12's would finally remove the "notch" (No...sadly, but its not a total deal breaker) New cameras will be nice though. I'll have to look at the other features/specs.

But yeah, dropping 1K+...or hundreds w/ trade in year after year is not making sense to me anymore, especially my wallet.

If I do get it, it may not be immediate..and I'm sure I'll have to wait longer as store stock, like storage size / color will be sporadic...hard to find. ( The Midnight Blue, I THINK could be pretty popular, that is the one I'm looking at, also the larger 6'7" size. )

The Max is still generally feels ok. Battery health "93%" 13.6.1 was presenting some heating issues...I JUST finished updating to 13.7, hopefully that is better....maybe? (I'll find out soon I geuss)

How it will handle iOS 14...who knows?

You do have a point. I can always just sell my Apple Watch or pass it down to a family member. Only buy the aluminum models also so I won’t be losing out on too much if I resell.

I get the SS models because of the great durability and screen protection. If Apple would offer the same kind of screen protection for the aluminum model, I would give one of those a go. My series 3 is aluminum but, I only it for occasional sleep tracking and emergency watch backup.

Now that you mention it I typically upgrade my Apple Watches every 2 years. I have the S2 and S4. Maybe I should look into the SS model. I’ve always eyed the gold SS. I have a gold bumper on my S4 that make my watch appear gold SS.

I’ve never preordered through Apple before so this will be exciting for me. For the X, XS/XS Max, 11 Pro/11 Pro Max preorders, I did follow the threads to have something to read. I will admit, I loved reading how some people were able to track their iPhones leaving China, the flight their phones were on all the way to their doorstep. I’m eagerly awaiting to be apart of that this year.

Pre-order season can be exciting..and somewhat nerve wracking, frustrating. I know I'm not the only one refreshing the order/tracking page 50-60 times a day like a nutcase seeing if it left China. Status updates "Ordered, Preparing to Ship.....finally Shipped!"

Sometimes it leaves - I think Shenzhen, off to Shanghai...but then back to Shenzhen and sits (what my 8 Plus did..my last pre-order) - with 2 days until it's supposed to arrive. Almost a sense of panic especially when youl see others post updates THIER phone is in the US already)

But it it has always worked out for me personally. Once it leaves for Alaska, all is well.

*My reloading of the webpage, non-stop constant checking on the shipping status, it can also make the time from Pre-Order to delivery day the longest period in your life. What can I say, I'm a little neurotic I guess 😆 .

But once that phone arrives, it's an awesome feeling!

Preordering with T-Mobile wasn’t as exciting as seeing everyone updates with Apple. My only issue is I will have to use a day off work to have 2 laptops and my iPhone ready to go for preordering. I’ll also use another day for delivery day so that I can be home to receive my delivery.

So excited to see everyone’s excitement on here.. I‘m ready for follow along on everyone’s phone pre-ordering journey. Yes, this may have been created a tad early but who cares? Let’s get excited for what’s about to come in the next month or so!

Welcome to another year of preordering. Best time of the year. Really need it this year, too. It’s been a rough one. Hopefully we’ll get an event announcement this week with the event soon to follow. Even if ordering/shipping gets pushed back to October or November, at least we’ll know what’s coming so we can plan.

Last year it was 8 AM EST. However in previous years I think it was at like 3:01 AM EST. I only started preordering last year, so if that is incorrect someone feel free to correct me.

You’re correct. I liked the 3:01am time better because I would preorder and go right back to bed. At 8am I would be clocking in to work so the best thing for me is to just take 1/2 the day off to preorder or the whole day. I would be a nervous wreck at work trying to preorder .

OMG, IKR? I remember last year I was sitting anxiously at my desk and "stepped away" to go out in the hall and order. I did it though and got my 11 Pro on launch. Luckily this year I'll be at home so it may be easier.

03:00 works for me. I have a hard time sleeping as it is, as my mind is always racing. I will let Tim know what the new plan is.

I always set my alarm clock for 2:50am, log into my t-mobile account and call customer service. I always got through with customer service first and received my phones on launch day except last year I didn’t preorder for the 11 Pro Max.

You need to be working on converting your man to iPhone. :p He should be getting up early so you can sleep in.

I converted him over 4 years ago. He’s just not into tech as I am and don’t care what iPhone he have or even everything it can do. He only upgrades when his phone breaks or he lose it

My husband and I decided to have a stay up party when the phone launches this year. We are taking the day off from work, so we can actually sleep in once the phones are preordered. We haven't decided on a color yet though, we'll decide when they announce the new phones.
