Honestly, I dont see why people have to wait a week to get a phone for years. Just start shipping orders. Whoever pre ordered Friday should ship out that same day and delivered by Monday. The watches were pre ordered event day and available that Friday. Apple like to keep people waiting after spending 1k on a phone.

For anyone that was in my group previously for AW. I’m one of the former AW 2am’ers. I know some Of us expected to be back here for the iPhone. We were a partying group when our Apple Watches were in transit.

I ordered a Pro 256 in Pacific Blue. After getting my cart filled I kept getting errors trying to check out and sat there watching my delivery date slip from 10/23, to 10/28, and then to 11/3 just because of the app issues. Frustrating!

Exact same thing happened when I ordered the same phone. So much for getting on early! Oh well — we’ll get them fairly soon.

They should build them before announcing them! We always justifying Apple's actions

well you know what that would cost, maintaining that inventory for weeks until enough are built. And if they forecast demand wrong they could end up with excess inventory. This way they build hype, build excitement and don’t over invest. Smart marketing

Waiting to see that as well. Apple Watch was directly from the US so maybe the iPhone will be to. Makes sense they might already have them in the US to avoid possible export and import delays with COVID and such.

I live about 12 miles from an Apple store and my series 6 Apple Watch was delivered by courrier in an hour for a $9 fee.

Just saying that the phones might be shipped from a local store.

I ordered mine a little after 8:00 this morning and my status is "Processing" wth a 10/23 Standard Delivery.

Apple Watch was absolutely shipped from China. We were tracking the UPS planes that went from China to Taiwan, then to Alaska and finally to KY. We were the #2am departure crew!

yes! One is going to be the main one and the other one is back up if I get bored and feel like I wanna bling (Gold)

I’ll be keeping the iPhone Pro Max 512GB gold and pacific blue.

I did order the iPhone 11 Pro model! But im not sure about the size so we’ll see.

I think it is actually a good thing that the Mini and the Pro Max are not being ordered along with the mid-sized phones. Everything would really be a mess with two more phones added in. Even though I hate waiting several more weeks for my Gold Pro Max!

@Theyayarealivin, I was but, the difference are very small so, why spend all that money. Besides, remember I got the Product Red watch so, I wanted to match it. 😉 Aaaannnd, red is my favorite color...lol

I do remember you got the Red Watch. So did I and I love it! I’m glad you got the red phone. My daughter has the red 11 with a clear case. I wish the Pro Max came in red too! I just chatted with Apple. I explained how I saw the delivery date slipped while the order was processed. It went from 10/23 to 11/03. The agent offered me to upgrade to express shipping for free. I don't know if it will make a difference or not. But she mentioned she couldn't change the delivery date.
