I placed an order for iPhone 12 Pro Graphite 128 GB unlocked on Nov 21. Then I got the estimated date of delivery to be between Dec 16 - Dec 23. Further I got an email from Apple on Monday that the shipment is on its way with a new date of Dec 7th by Apple.

As per what it showed on UPS tracking, it got shipped on Dec 1st from ZhengZhou and said in transit only to change later to say that package is awaiting final clearance.

Now it is still the same status.

Places order for graphite 256 gb 12PM today. Window for delivery says 16-23 Dec. I wonder how long it will be in processing. Need to stop checking order every hour 🥲

That's weird. I ordered the exact same phone (Graphite 12 Pro Max 256GB) on Nov 26 and my delivery dates are Dec 24 and Jan 4???

It took me 10 days for my order to go from processing to pfs. Ordered on 11/20/2020 and just this morning apple status says "Shipped"

If not tomorrow, likely Thursday.
What does this mean
Today
Your package was released by the customs agency.

I seen this morning seems it’s not coming today it’s not in USA

I was torn between black and the blue versions. In the end, I ordered the iPhone Mini 12 in 128GB configuration (which I wanted in the first place when I got my 8 Plus before) and in the color blue. First time ordering from Apple (usually order through carrier). Couldn't have been much easier.

And they must have a bigger Mini 12 supply. Or they aren't selling as quickly as the other iPhone 12 versions. My delivery date is December 4th.

Looking forward to seeing one finally in person!

I think Apple will update your delivery window and surprise you. It’s happened to some in this thread too. They underpromise on delivery date then bring it forward to over deliver. Keep checking your order status. Is it still in processing?

Yes still in processing with delivery dates of Dec 24-Jan 4.

I ordered a M1 MBP on Nov 23, 2020 with the same delivery dates, Dec 24 - Jan 4. No change in delivery dates.

No the a big deal if it's delivered after Christmas as they are not Christmas presents, but it would be nice to use them while on Christmas vacation.

My iPhone 12 Pro Max was delivered on launch day at 9:55pm. However, the iPhone 12 Pro that I ordered has now been sitting at my local UPS Distribution Center for 6 days and the only update is "Package was incorrectly sorted and may experience a delay." Inquiries to UPS go unanswered and Apple won't do anything yet. I know shipping companies are swamped, but 6 days is more than enough time for them to figure out what is going on....

Wow you guys. I sympathize with those of you who are stuck in clearance. Here I thought the Pro Max would encounter delays once they were in the states but not before. Best of luck to all of you out there.

(also, I miss this thread and the buddies I made on here)

So, I spoke with UPS, my phone with the last update "departed facility", on 11/28 in Anchorage, and no update since has been stuck there with customs. UPS guy was really helpful and took my info and will investigate it through their brokerage in AK. Supposed to get in touch with me within 24hrs.

It had spent 8 days in China customs delay which is what everyone is experiencing, but the delay in US customs in AK is rare. Nevertheless, CBP inspections do happen. Sometimes they can take it "off site" and hold freight and inspect it.
So that's what UPS will try to find out what's causing this delay, the UPS guy mentioned even "missing docs", but I'd find that hard to believe. So, guess I'll update here what UPS gets back with in case anyone experiences similar delays in Anchorage.

mine is stuck with customs in AK..lol

Shouldn't be any customs checks in Alaska as it's just a refueling stop on the way to WorldPort in Louisville. Outgoing customs clearance happens in China, and incoming customs clearance happens in Louisville. If you're stuck in Alaska, it might be a missed scan or a delayed flight, but shouldn't be customs.

Normally the customs do not occur in Alaska, customs goes through KY.

Is anyone using a clear skin and clear case combination? I now want a clear skin but I also want to use a clear case when I’m out of the house.

not saying you're wrong or trying to argue at all, but is this verified or is there a source confirming it? as in, UPS only uses Anchorage as a refueling station?

per this article: https://www.zdnet.com/article/why-your-ipad-comes-via-anchorage/

both UPS and Fedex have built massive logistics centers there "to expedite customs".

Anyway, just the messenger, that's what the UPS guy told me, maybe he meant that it's stuck with clearing customs (in Louisville) and that last update was "departed facility in Anchorage"..but wouldn't it have a Louisville arrival scan? there's also been 11+ flights from Anchorage to Lousville since the 28th. That would be a lot of delayed flights for my package to finally fly out.

iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB Gold unlocked. No carrier.
Excellent taste. I have the same phone. I work for att and I know that the 128gb models in Gold with Att was shipping a lot later than say the 256 or 512. Of course the unlocked models are always popular as well.
Keep the faith though, once it leaves the clearance, it can get from China to Louisville to wherever you are pretty quickly. Where are you?

LOL mine doesn't even show where it is - shipped from China but did it land anywhere? Where?

Interesting. My customs scans have always been in Louisville and never in Anchorage. Anchorage has always just been an arrival and departure scan. Maybe they do the customs inspections in Anchorage and just post the clearance scans in Louisville?

yeah definitely could be. Either way, now UPS My Choice shows "Exception"..Seattle : We're attempting to verify the package location/Investigation only.....so heck could be that it's lost at this point.. :(

btw, how are people able to use the package locator map feature on UPS My Choice? Does that only become available once it's in a truck out for delivery?

Clear skin only from Slickwraps--Naked series; matte which is lightly textured or gloss which is smooth. They come 2 to a pack, with one having individual wraps for camera, the back of the phone, and trim for the stainless steel band, and the other for just the camera and the back of the phone.

UPS My Choice should show tracking from start to finish... beginning in China and every destination in between on up to delivery.

interesting, maybe since I registered and set up My Choice after it had left China that's why it's not available and why I can seem to figure out where this map feature is

my wife ordered her iPhone 12 Pro Max via AT&T through her work on November 30th. it got shipped yesterday and will be delivered today
