FYI last year Apple did not send me the “shipped” notification until the day before it was delivered.
Usually it comes after customs clearance once the pallet is broken down and each individual package is on it's own wayFYI last year Apple did not send me the “shipped” notification until the Thursday.

Alaska as it’s fhe first point entry kinda like passengers..So where do we expect it to clear customs? I'd expect it to be Anchorage since that's US soil, but I've seen import scan in Louisville before.
I've seen them go through Alaska and not get an Import Scan until LouisvilleAlaska as it’s fhe first point entry kinda like passengers..
Yes. Apple will not mark it shipped until it has cleared customsMy XS MAX Space Grey 256GB finally got an Arrival scan in Incheon, CC has been charged, my only worry is that the Apple Store App is still not showing my phone as shipped. Is this the same for everyone?
Did it just get scanned in there? Or did the scan just show up?My XS MAX Space Grey 256GB finally got an Arrival scan in Incheon, CC has been charged, my only worry is that the Apple Store App is still not showing my phone as shipped. Is this the same for everyone?

Did they actually go back or just a tracking mishap?I remember a year when a bunch phones went to Korea and then back to China: that caused some gastric distress.
Look at a past shipment and see where the Out For Delivery scan was from that will be your closest CCI went into UPS to change my delivery to a UPS store right across the street from where I work - it’s easier to grab it myself during lunch than worry about a missed delivery at home. So far my del. date is still estimated as Friday 9/21.

Nothing is in Korea RN that flight left for AK a few hours ago and should arrive in the next 3 and a half hoursIs there a chance phones with 2:07AM arrival are in Korea but never got scanned / delayed scan? Don't remember what happened last year.
PossibleI think I also remembered from previous years that scans can be skipped? i.e. it'll skip and scan in AK??
I think in the country right before it enters Alaska. all the phones clear customs as one unit before they leave.So where do we expect it to clear customs? I'd expect it to be Anchorage since that's US soil, but I've seen import scan in Louisville before.

Will I still be able to pick it up on Friday or is it set in stone?WorldPort in KY is the norm for customs

Ya if you change it to a UPS store it changes the date
[doublepost=1537289737][/doublepost]Thanks Apple
Mine arrived in Shanghai, earlier than yours, at 6:00PM yet it is still stuck there..... hmmm.... what games you playing Apple???Sometimes the scans dont get published in the system right away - the overall pallet itself is not broken down until it makes it through customs. The UPS system gets updated based off of a manifest and main tracking info for that pallet - sometimes the individual packages in the pallet don't get updated at every scan. Idk why, but I have seen it happen in past launches.
