Funny to think the phones actually arrive at almost the same time they left since they go back in time. Flight left at 6:10PM ZhengZhou time and will arrive in Alaska at 12:46PM so they arrive about 6 hours sooner than they left.

Things are moving along nicely. After finally being able to pull the tracking info from UPS it has now been added to my UPS.

Anyone else with tracking that's stuck in Hong Kong?
Yep been there for nearly 40 hours now, hoping when it reaches 48 that the usual 2 day wait will find it on a plane or a scan showing along the line (have seen both happen) already but not updated in UPS

I Ordered 2 XsMax which showed up in UPS a couple days ago. I Also ordered a 64 Xs Silver which just now shows up in UPS as ready for pickup - so much for the 'already in the States' theory.
All are still 'preparing for Shipment' in Apple's system.
All were promised 9/21 and I don't doubt it.

For some reason this time, I don't get the option to choose my Customer Service center while I do see all the access point and retail stores (which doesn't offer an advantage and may mean a delay).
I'll wait to see if that changes once they are officially 'shipped' and call UPS if I still have a problem.
Anyone else experience this? I wonder if being a household customer makes a difference or their distribution route changed.
Same situation for me regarding the UPS status. I see about a million UPS stores and random lockers but the CC doesn't appear at all.

Oh wow! Mine has only been there for a few hours. I am assuming we'll be heading to Alaska sometime soon.

Mines in ZhengZhuo, China. I was able to change my pickup to a UPS store and still get my Friday delivery date! Hooray! :) I might just have to sneak outta work for a bit to pick it up!

Ok... so remember... We are at Level of Concern: Blossom...

It may be nothing but previously my "From" only showed CGO, CN and now it actually shows its coming from FoxConn.

Edit: It also shows tons of 'reference' information, like my TN and Order Number and a bunch of other numbers that I don't know what they are.

Looks like there is UPS flight 59 which departed from Hong Kong a few hours ago. Should arrive in Alaska in 6-7 hours so hopefully we see some change!

Fascinating - I thought the info I posted earlier was my phone. I looked at the reference numbers and it's my WATCH!

UPS really? (This if for my case not the phone) First the trailer was late then they sorted it wrong causing it to come back 12 minutes later...

Not sure it seems over past 4 years on upgrade the phones sit for 36-48 hours then fly. I know that some phones get Chinese clearance of customs right at Foxconn (a post on here). Mine is one of the Xs’s (not a Max” so they are all going to Hong Kong. Maybe they have to get enough pallets to send out a UPS flight from Hong Kong.

So I'm actually just tracking my watch (don't shoot me I just really like watching this thread). Is anyone's tracking showing their current position in Shanghai?

Could be, I have had cases where nothing updates til the phone gets to Louisville main hub. Other years constant updates along way.

If you're not using a desktop, use one. I couldn't get my local CC to appear in the UPS app or on the UPS site in mobile Safari. It would only appear on the UPS desktop site, which gives 50 results.

'Tentative' - thats what I find concerning
Someone mentioned earlier that could just be reminder that it still has to pass through customs and that UPS doesn't control that process so no promises. On ours though it should be pretty straightforward and no worries.

Can someone help me out here. My iPhone is due to be delivered Friday. However I’m not sure if I will be able to work from home to receive it. So my questions are:

1) if I do UPS store pickup will it be available Friday still? It’s giving me a tentative date of Monday when I select it but I didn’t know if it was just being cautious with delivery dates.

2) or, if that doesn’t work, will I be able to pre-sign for my delivery? I believe it was last year where it was the first time they did not accept my pre authorization slip. No clue why.

It's a World Ease shipment so all the phones shipped in that batch clear customs as one unit if 1 gets held up everyones gets help up.
