I dunno what's up with UPS's routes in my area, but according to the "Follow My Delivery" map, the truck was in my neighborhood but then left. Delivery still says by 3pm though, so maybe they have some sort of weird loop route?

Anyway, I'm gonna stop overthinking this watching so closely. The tracking status says out for delivery. The phone will arrive when it arrives.

Boy I hope so. My watch is in my Bay Area destination city but my iPhone is showing unknown delivery date in ups app although it still shows 9/21 in the Apple app. My watch isn't out for delivery yet...usually, the truck is on the road by now (8am). Maybe it is waiting for my iPhone. I have hope!

Well I just called UPS because my phone doesn’t show an import scan in Los Angeles at all and they told me that there was plane is delayed out of Kentucky and my phone is still in Kentucky and will not be delivered today and will be delivered tomorrow because they upgraded it for Saturday delivery I’m pissed. She said that all planes didn’t make it out of Kentucky they were delats

I’m still hopin it will be delivered today and the scans just have not updated.

Ups and Apple website have not updated for Saturday delivery. Well pretty much held hostage to my house today and tomorrow because you never know scans could just not be updated

On that note... After the 5 day hold for pick-up by UPS, does anyone know how long it takes Apple to get the shipment back and the charge to be credited back to my CC?

Well I can honestly say mine made the connecting flight, but took 2 hours and 50 minutes to get scanned into the system as a departure to the final destination. So be patient. I never got a scan from the import scan in Louisville to the departure scan in Portland. If it says 9/21, they will most likely get it there.

Anyone know how long it takes UPS to give you an estimated delivery date? My phone shipped 2 days ago and the last event was last night and it arrived back in China after already leaving China 2 hours prior. I still don’t have a scheduled delivery date... anyone else in the same boat?

There a different factors. He may have deliverys with time commitments to meet first and no time to stop for those without them

Where are you in Oregon? I am in Southern Oregon and my last update is arrival scan in PDX. I am beginning to doubt that it will arrive here today.

WTF. This guy was in my area but went away. They are making commercial deliveries first and then residential. So he would come back to my area again. What a waste of time and gas. He was right there in front of me. use common sense... Businesses close by end of the day 5.00PM, morning deliveries are always on separate truck (I always see UPS van if I have morning delivery) , most of the residential deliveries are by 3:00 PM today. He was right there, 10ft from me and went away. I asked him if he has package for me? he said that he is doing commercial deliveries first and that he would come back for residential. Seriously??

I am in the Portland Metro Area. However I talked to my local UPS rep yesterday and he mentioned they have additional routes in place in Oregon to make the deliveries happen today per Apple's request. So I would still have patience. They actually have till 8PM to make the deliveries in Oregon to Residential addresses.

Did you have the email letting you know that it’s ready for pick up? Still waiting for mine to arrive at my local CC but I’m not sure if I should wait for the ready for pick up email or just go once it arrives.

You and I must live in the same city ;). I didn’t get any update besides the departure and I just got to our(?) early and they happen to be open. Going home with some loot :O.

The person at the counter let me know that since some of the planes were delayed, some shipments were treated as same day delivery so the tracking is going to be delayed cause a lot of packages were moving. He showed me the tracking internally for my two packages and wow. They were MOVING.

The delay was blamed on the weather. They usually hold the planes so phones don’t get delivered early because UPS’s system isn’t really set up for “release date” hold, so if a package comes in early and can go out that day, it usually will.

I can say I’ve experienced this with UPS where some of my packages have been delivered early cause the truck was ahead of schedule and my package got to the CC just in time to get put on a truck. But with the weather it ****ed up their normal plan.

Were you able to get your phone?

Mine has been for 45minutes. doubt he is just sitting there. most likely 1.5million users refreshing that page crashing UPS for second day in a row lol
