This is probably a reach, but if I have the Sept 28th - Oct 5th date for my T-Mobile 64GB SG Max, when should I expect to see any movement? If I don't get it on the 21st, is it highly possible me getting it before the 28th (like lets say the 24th)?

A lot of people on reddit and other forums have gotten my hopes high by saying that most likely I'll even get it on the 21st (if not, VERY soon after) and that Apple slipped the dates back so soon (ordered 3:17 EST) just as a safety net. I just keep kicking myself in the a** for sleeping in late :( Could've had it here this Friday if I woke up on time...

Two problems with that. One, the latest versions of iTunes don't allow that anymore and two, you lose the ability of partial installs to save space. That is, you get the full app, not the slimmed down version, as desktop restores put all the app modules on board, including the unneeded iPad parts.

Aah. Yeah, I don't do iCloud backup (no room). Maybe I'll delete a few dozen unplayed games to save some time. :D

I had to really think about it myself but decided to pull the trigger because of screen size

Yeah dude, that was my logic as well. But for $1500 you can get a nice Macbook Pro. Kinda crazy to pay that much for a phone, especially for someone like myself who has been trying to spend less time on their phone. Also IOS 12 runs wickedly fast on my 8. Considering this year's 'S' upgrade was a dud, I think Apple will release something much more significant next year.

Maybe If I was interested in an XS Max I would have upgraded but I hate gigantic phones.

Pretty weird. I just logged onto the desktop site and it still only offers stupid UPS Stores. Guess I'll just wait it out. Delivery in my neighborhood is always late, like 4-5pm, and I know the backup/restore process to the new phone takes like 5 hours (I have a TON of apps). Bleh.

Oh boy. I really hope they haven’t removed choosing CC for pick up as an option. That would really suck.

I guess I’ll hear something later than all of you because after canceling my first order , I placed the second close to 1pm (my time) so around 4 hours after launch.

You aren't alone in thinking that. I have a 7 Plus that works just fine and I did think about cancelling my order. But I kind of want the upgrade, I was going to go for the XS Max but too much money for me so I ordered a similar model to the one you ordered.
Definitely not alone. It is a lot of coin for a phone. Ultimately, I decided to upgrade from my 7 plus because I just wanted to...I skipped last year and planned to upgrade this year. I did use IUP this year as t-mobile didn't offer any great deals. When I got my 7 plus, I basically got it for $300 as I got bill credits for 24 months. I couldn't beat that.

For my S4 Watch, I was able to select my local UPS CC via desktop Safari. It was the 29th choice presented though. Still waiting for my XS Max to show up in My UPS however.

Tracking by reference in UPS mychoice and nothing. Tried phone number and order number minus last two digits. When I click on weekly deliveries it shows Friday delivery with UPS tracking number.

I thought I would never get used to my 7 plus as it felt way too big when I got it...but I love the large size.

That's what she said. :D

I am having a lot of those thoughts. Apple May have found the line, too much for a phone

My watches are for store pickup.

I am trying to order a XS 256 on iUP through sprint.

Had ported the number to att next but figured out that trade-in of iPhone 8 plus will take off 400$ off the financed amount. This brings down my monthly payment to 32~.

So this morning I canceled the number port out from sprint to att and then the order.

But now sprint says it’s going to take 24 hours for port out request to cancel out.

Sprint XS is available for 9/21 delivery.

Any idea how long does it take for port out requests cancellations to go through

Jealous of you all with tracking info already! I hope mine isn’t originating in the States. That would make this week infinitely more boring.
I think our phone have not been shipped yet.

One of my phones has popped up on UPS MyChoice. After checking the reference number, this is most likel Successfully changed it for pickup at my Customer Center. :)

Edit:
XS Max 256GB Gold Verizon on IUP
XS 256GB Gold TMobile on IUP

After checking the reference number, this is most likely for my Verizon phone as the phone number on my TMobile order is different.

Some more UPS MYCHOICE Conspiracies...

My label that was created has 6 different reference numbers. One is my phone number. One starts with a W that looks like an Apple Order number but isn't one of mine. One is phone number in my city but not mine. One is a New Jersey phone number. Others are random that don't pull up anything via Google.

Let the games begin...

Update 12:11 PM CST:
Phone has an Origin Scan at ZhengZhou, China at 10:57 P.M. local time (About 2 hours, 15 mins ago)
