My Xs 256GB just showed up in ups as"in transit"... With departure scan... Apple store order still shows "Preparing to ship".

IIRC (and you may remember as well) last year they sat in Anchorage but “missed” a scan so to speak-the customs scan was a bit late so they had moved on out of ANC before we got the tracking updates. I believe it was ANC-ORD-SDF-BOS. As for the Departure/Arrival Scan in CGO-that was covered in an Article about the logistics-they arrive to the customs zone and then are “imported” and “exported” at the same time by pallet.
 
Ok am I the only one here who's order is still under Preparing to Ship? It's September 17, 2018 and my delivery date is September 21, 2018. Now I'm starting to wonder if there will be any delays.

You’re not the only one - my gold XS and leather case are still Preparing to Ship. I placed my order as soon as the store reopened in the wee hours last Friday morning. I am sure delivery will still occur on time but seeing the order stuck at Preparing... does make one a bit antsy.

512 sim free max, woke up to tracking number on UPS MyChoice. Arrival scan ZhengZhou, delivered by sep. 21. BUT no e-mail from Apple still in PFS. Oddly enough I received tracking info via Apple e-mail for my leather case which doesn't show up on UPS yet.

So my gold cellular 44mm watch is coming from Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong and my XS gold 256 is coming from Suzhou, China! Two UPS tracking numbers.
 
I bought a watch and a phone. I have 2 tracking numbers, one with an item weighing 0.7kg and one with an item weighing 0.5kg. I’m assuming that the phone is the 0.7kg item.
 
I was tracking by the original reference number and now I see I have a second tracking number with more movement. Am I getting two phones? Lol

I have the same. Despite both of our initial inclinations the 0.7 is the watch and the 0.5 is the phone. You'll see the tracking reference order number in the list less the last 2 digits. Also Foxconn is phone, Full-Tech is Quanta which handles the watch.
