Was expecting a bigger increase for Premiere., 10%+.
Given our/my Apple Music, TV+, iCloud storage and News+ usage, this is ok. (News+ subscription is cheaper than separate subscriptions to BBC Music, Time and The Atlantic).

For a subscription to justify continual payment, it needs to be something I can pop into anytime to watch something I love.
The Apple shows are ok, some even very good, but none of it (at least not yet) is some type of classic content that I want to randomly rewatch for fun.
Getting streaming money from Apple Music I’ll definitely compare the price per stream to see if they tell the truth.
Spotify will probably raise their price too. It’s only a matter of time.

Naturally, Apple wouldn't ever consider taking slightly less of a cut themselves to pay artists more.
Fully agree. I pay Netflix £16.99 a month and all I watch is Seinfeld and Friends. I even paid Now TV (the UK SVOD service for HBO shows) to watch Columbo.

I wasn’t tempted by any of these services at all so this just adds to my reasons not to even bother looking at it. There are plenty of more cost effective alternatives with arguably better content.
This price increase made me re-evaluate if I should be on the highest tier. After a closer look for how much I use certain services, it turns out that I can get by with the tier below it. So they tried to get an extra $3 from me, but instead they'll be getting $7 less since I am dropping down a tier. Funny that I would have kept paying the old price of the highest tier indefinitely without thinking about it.
Carefully worded by Apple. The artists get a percentage of subscription revenue. Subscription price went up, so more revenue. Apple IS NOT increasing the artists share (higher percentage) of the revenue increase. I guess artists should be happy this was not conincident with a decrease in the rev share.

At least rebrand them Apple iMusic Pro, Apple iTV Pro, and Apple iOne Pro to reflect their premium status.
Funny how when inflation goes back down, the prices will remain the same.
How about actually improving Apple Music for the price? It was inevitable, but is Apple Music really worth 109? Give us Playlist folders (For curated playlists, not our own) and easy access to the radio part of the service. Give us a way to pin playlists at the top. Just improve the thing.

The rate of inflation might go up and down, but that still means prices are increasing. What we need to reduce prices is deflation.
Sad. But that’s on you. Most that I know have seen substantial increases in past few years.
