So to make up for this, everybody CANCEL Netflix. They are the real greedy ones!
Brilliant suggestion. Makes a lot of sense. Let's irrationally hate multiple things at once. Kind of a consolidation. The percentage of haters posting grows by leaps and bounds every day. Trying to find a morsel of rational, intelligent conversion is essentially impossible. My ignore file eliminates about 40% of hateful posts. It's just getting too hard to find any reason to read these posts. I get more intelligent discussions about Apple from my cats.

And for those who hate Netlix, I like the service. For those who flippantly say there is nothing useful to watch on Netflix, I have to wonder if you find anything to watch anywhere that you don't hate and criticize. You live to hate Apple. What a life. Good luck. I'm absolutely done. I'll read the main articles. But the posts, never again.

Same, the only subscriptions I have are Apple Music, Apple Fitness+ (both annual subscriptions because I thought this day might be coming), and monthly AppleCare+ for my phone.
I just cancelled Disney+ and am considering cancelling other streaming services and moving to a rotating schedule. I have a couple of subscriptions to some extremely useful apps, also. I HATE app subscriptions, and I say this as an app developer. But what can you do? We’re stuck in this world of constant consumption and it’s not easy to opt out.

I didn't mean every post -- but the mere fact anyone in here is defending this (of which there are several, yes)
Try and find a topic on the internet where 100% of commenters agree on anything. There will always be some taking the contrarian argument, sometimes just to do that.

That's my opinion as well -- I've had multiple free trials of it (on one right now in fact!) and I simply don't use it, even when it's free.

I just don't think Apple Music is that good relative to the competition.
My main gripe is you can't simply add an artist to your music library like you can in Spotify. Instead you have to go to the artists and manually add each and every one of their albums and singles which is ridiculous and tedious. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

As a devout offline/local library listener, I really wish they'd break AM out into its own App also

Yeah Apple TV+ for the most part is mid. Aside from Ted Lasso they don't have any system sellers. Some shows are good yes, The Morning Show, For All Mankind, and Severance are some standouts. Not to mention they have really good original movies on Apple TV+. But that's it. Compared to other services there isn't enough to warrant subscribing outside of a quick binge of Ted Lasso or something, then once you're done...what else is there for you? When I bought a Mac Mini last year it came with a free year of Apple TV+, and I barely touched the service at all during that time compared to how much mileage I get out of Disney+. Apple TV+ is also very slow at getting content out, and lacks a lot of variety.

So with all these factors in mind, it's really hard to justify subscribing to Apple TV+.
Well, that's a well stated reason why you don't think ATV+ is worth it. And I respect that. Better than everying is trash or all the content is garbage comments. For me, the $54 a year is well worth the subscription (at least that is the price showing in the subscription section of of the App store).

Time to obsessively go through all the other countries that have Apple One, compare their local currency exchange rate to USD, see if there's a VPN into that country to sign up for an account, and then... not do anything about it because it's still too expensive.

IMO, Apple TV+ may not be worth the cost. When I do find something I like there, I tend to LOVE it. But it can be really difficult to find something good to watch. They really need to purchase a studio or license studio content. Some old movies and TV shows would really help beef up the service.

I wonder if the rise in Apple TV+ cost is to help pay for for the MLB Friday Night Baseball. I see another increase coming if they get the NFL.

We knew this was coming, good commentators and podcasters have been indicating this would be an expected move pretty soon, before XMAS for sure. Glad I locked in ATV+ for a year at $50.
