Guess I’m switching to Spotify. They have better UI anyways. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Agree on the UI! But price wise you might be making a saving for a short time only. They have increased the price of Family in most markets, and of Individual in many. As a public company, it's unlikely that their investors will let them sit $1 below the #2 service for a long time...

It's exactly what they want. Reoccurring subscriptions that most people never bother to check or cancel just gives them a license to keep helping themselves to people's money.
Do people not take advantage of bank notifications? I see every charge the moment it happens. Often times my phone notifies me before the person at the fast food lane even gives me my card back, for example.

I’m finally reaching the point of subscription overload. It’s just all costing me so much and every company is doing a price increase. I’ll keep my Apple One Premium account, even at the new price, but I’m starting to be much, much more selective about my subscriptions.
Same, the only subscriptions I have are Apple Music, Apple Fitness+ (both annual subscriptions because I thought this day might be coming), and monthly AppleCare+ for my phone.

but no! prices must remain the same despite inflation! /s

but no! prices get hiked because people roll over and pay.

Inflation is simply an easy excuse... as if it is futile and we all must pay whatever any seller asks because of a word. If enough choose NOT to pay more, guess what would happen to pricing? That's a rhetorical question. But just in case someone doesn't know: pricing would magically start coming back down again, in search of a level where buyers will once again trade hard-earned cash for stuff/services.

As it is now and as it has been for too long, we gripe/whine/complain about costs and income, etc but then we just roll over and reward price hikes. If most consumers decided enough was enough, that would end "inflation."

At least the money is going to artists but Apple Music in itself is not up to Apple's usual high standards. It seems like Apple neglected child.

That's my opinion as well -- I've had multiple free trials of it (on one right now in fact!) and I simply don't use it, even when it's free.

I just don't think Apple Music is that good relative to the competition.

Only thing I even use of theirs is iCloud storage honestly

Every passing year I get happier and happier that I maintain my own Music library
(and I love doing it also! - my music library is like a journal of life in a way)
I have a 2006 Mac Pro 1,1 server holding my music collection but I have not updated my music because of the ease of use with Apple Music. Might be time to rethink that.

I love comments like this. I'm sure you have watched everything on ATV+ to know most of it is all garbage. LOL!

Yeah Apple TV+ for the most part is mid. Aside from Ted Lasso they don't have any system sellers. Some shows are good yes, The Morning Show, For All Mankind, and Severance are some standouts. Not to mention they have really good original movies on Apple TV+. But that's it. Compared to other services there isn't enough to warrant subscribing outside of a quick binge of Ted Lasso or something, then once you're done...what else is there for you? When I bought a Mac Mini last year it came with a free year of Apple TV+, and I barely touched the service at all during that time compared to how much mileage I get out of Disney+. Apple TV+ is also very slow at getting content out, and lacks a lot of variety.

So with all these factors in mind, it's really hard to justify subscribing to Apple TV+.

I would have liked to see Apple Music stay at $10. Spotify still charges $10 per month. I think the average Apple user has a paid AM subscription, and I'm sure Apple is making more money on the platform than they know what to do with.
