Must be, the neural engine in the A16 is marginally more powerful than the one in the M1 and M2, so I'm assuming it's the 8 GB of RAM that is key to making this work well on device.
The neural engine is the thing doing the heavy lifting here and you’re right— A16 is more powerful than both M1 and M2 in that regard. I can’t see how 2 GB of RAM would be make or break for this.

Again…as intellectually hard as *ordering pizza?*

We’re talking some awfully intricate pizza configurations involved if that’s the case.

Says someone who's probably no longer demanding assembly of their pizzas at the nanometer scale. If the toppings molecules are not just right, it just doesn't taste the same. It took me 121 weeks to order my last pizza exactly as it should be assembled atom by atom. ;)

What you’re describing is more akin to what fabs do. Apple does easier, high-level stuff like core count, core size, etc. it’s not hard to list a spec sheet.

In our analogy, Apple would be the customer picking the size and the toppings with barely any technical know-how (Which anyone can do) while the fab works on the harder, intricate details of the pizza.

Apple Intelligence is an unusual name for such a feature… I think their marketing ran out of ideas for names or had none on this feature.

What it does is cool, and looks very promising. But that name.. Im not so sure… I mean it’s not even their own AI technology. It’s a little misleading.

I think it looks pretty good too.

But according to one poster above unless it steals all my data for advertising and exposes my family to all of the absolute worst of the Internet, it can't be any good.

Well , my iPhone 13 Pro Max has lost a LOT of features here, a little miffed off , this also tells us one thing. All our HomePods are now useless. And they will sell new ones.

I hope the guy didn't ask Siri "How should I dress for the Siri presentation?".
If he did......... fail.

The idea is to disassociate it with AI while still using AI (Apple Intelligence) to associate it will Apple branding.
