BP station issue in FL apparently fixed.
I hope you’re right about the detailed street features. It’s weird how they’re implemented. It seems connected with the ultra-detailed City Experiences, but then it also appears to be tied in with the existing Look Around availability.I just posted this as a response on Reddit, but guessing that 15.2 and full LookAround/detailed street features could be released on the same day either as early as this week or by next week.

Got my notice too!! One at a time I keep submitting these.BP station issue in FL apparently fixed.
So here's a weird issue with Apple Maps...
On my fully updated iPhone 11, when my phone goes into dark mode in the evening, my Apple Maps show up dark, as the should. So do Google Maps. No issues there.
On CarPlay, in dark mode, the top information bar showing the route/lanes/turning directions shows up in black (as it should in dark mode) and the bottom information bar arrival time/travel time/distance shows up in black (as it should in dark mode). But the actual MAP itself is still in "light mode."
Google Maps renders in CarPlay as it should
I've tried this in two different CarPlay settings - my own Coral Vision CarPlay tablet as well as my wife's OEM Toyota Rav4 CarPlay head unit. It displays the same in both, making me think it's something particular to my phone setup or a very weird bug.
My wife's XR renders the dark maps in dark mode as it should, on her phone and in CarPlay.
Any advice welcome.
Im seeing reports commonly in Australia too, seems like its an advancement not just limited to the USAI know I have been saying this for 6 months, but I truly believe Apple throttled the reporting feature and limited it to a certain number of reports per incident or specific users maybe….and I think they just opened the throttle with the latest beta.
I asked the above (in the Maps wiki thread). I got this suggestion:Is there a way to report problems with directions in Apple Maps? I know about reporting problems with locations. But don’t know how to report errors in routing. I’ve been using Walking directions in a city the past week. And it seems to be confused by one-way streets, routing as if I were driving rather than walking. An example is below, where instead of routing the obvious and short way straight down the street, the walking directions were convoluted and round-about. These bad directions are the norm, not the exception.
I couldn’t find a quick way to report this to Apple. Any suggestions?

That’s my confusion: there’s no Report an Issue for routes. Only locations.Tap the suggested route box (not "GO", but the box it is in). This will bring up the detailed info for the route. You can then select "Report an Issue" at the bottom of the page. At this point, you can actually select the specific part of the route that you feel is incorrect and make your report directly to Apple.
FYI...we have an iOS15 Maps thread as well HERE.

That feature is not present on my iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 15.1.1.Your not tapping the route box…tap where it says “12 min”….
It will bring up the route details as shown below…then select “report an issue”
I saw some speculation recently on how Look Around releases might be working. (Don't remember if it was here or on Reddit).
But someone speculated that a hint to when Look Around may be released to an area could be tied to the "pedestrian" data and not necessarily the "vehicle collection data". If there is any truth to that, I'm not so sure we'd see a massive release covering the rest of the US at once. It might end up being a gradual expansion. Looking at Apple's webpage on the timeframe for collection, I would hope this means my area will be included soon! My county was listed under their pedestrian locations from May to September of this year. So hopefully that signifies something for us soon...because looking at the website, it looks like a lot of areas having pedestrian data collection are in areas either IN or CLOSE to a rolled out Look Around area.
As much as I would like to see one massive release, a part of me thinks what we might end up seeing is more cities added...with those and already existing releases just being expanded outward gradually. For me, living juuuuuust outside an already existing release...I'd be okay with this because I stand a good chance of seeing a release soon. For others though in areas that are nowhere near a currently existing release...I have a feeling they'll be waiting a while.
I hope to be surprised! I'm not traveling for holidays again this year, so a wide release would be nice to take a look at places I would have been going to I know, I know "just use Google Street View". But some of their imagery is surprisingly old in some of the areas.
