Does someone here have a bunq card (preferably a Dutch/German one) and could try to add it? Would be quite interesting to see...
You can only try version 7.0 launches.

Update is now available in the App Store...You can only try version 7.0 launches.
It has returned to the App Store. Just attended the keynote. Maestro cards should work as well. However, as previously noticed it is only available for Premium users. As "early adopter" I only pay 4 cents per payment and I cannot use this feature.You can only try version 7.0 launches.
I just added a bunq card to Apple Pay.
Dutch bank account, Spanish region.
I added a Maestro card!
I think you can just add 1 card.Germany here. I can also add a Maestro Card for Apple Pay. But no option for a Mastercard.

Was it possible to add maestro cards before?
//edit: yes it was
i don't think so, tbh I think they don't really want AP. well they will somewhen support it when apple is no longer able to not release it cooperating with small or foreign banks. but I dont think the banks really wanna support it, they just give a f... about it. I think they prefer a solution they can control in all ways - at least the big ones. and apple won't start without themSo this is interesting. Is this to put pressure on the big banks in Germany and NL?
Don't think that there will be announced anything either, but of other reasons.Nope, i don't think so. Wouldn't make much sense to announce Apple Pay for Europe when being on an US Educational Event - but hey this Apple, everything is possible
this year ? ;-)My best bet would be WWDC, which fits the Apple Pay puzzle much better than next week
Interesting development: It seems Apple has blocked access for this unofficial workaround and bunq is now communicating that only Spanish and Italian users can use Apple Pay... No more mention of "change your region". I assumed this wouldn't go unnoticed!
Interesting. There have been reports last year, that the bigger german banks are also technically ready to pull the trigger and waiting for the Go from Cupertino.ING NL declared that all they have to do is turn the switch to ON, but Apple won't let them as of yet.
You say: Oh dear! I tell you what sunny told me once: Apple does not like those workarounds.Oh dear... https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=https://www.bright.nl/nieuws/apple-pay-omweg-voor-bunq-klanten-alweer-teruggedraaid?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+brightmagazine+(B+R+I+G+H+T+-+innovative+lifestyle)
"The video of the presentation in which Niknam showed last night that the Apple Pay function appeared when he set the region settings of his iPhone to Spain, has also been removed from YouTube."
Do you have a source for this statement?ING NL declared that all they have to do is turn the switch to ON, but Apple won't let them as of yet.
