So another broad hint at Apple Pay within 4-5 weeks / beginning of June.
How do you get to Beginning of June with this?
You won't get a specific date. No bank in an Apple Pay country has ever announced a specific date. They will just start when they are ready. And I'm still sitting here, waiting for ING to announce a date. Or at least anything more detailed.
Interesting..
Apple included a new Payment Network (no. 15) specifically for Maestro in this JSON File

Pretty sure that wasn't there a few days ago. And if you look at the supported regions (https://smp-device-content.apple.com/static/region/v2/config.json), you can see, that no region supports this payment network 15 yet. Maybe preparations for the Netherlands launch? What do you think?
Yes, but do we have those readers here? You do not need any authentication then.I don't know I watched the video but Suica has always been this fast for me. But with the 12.3 update I can also choose German cards for express transit. Can that be used like in London or what is this meant for?

just got an interesting note
Hamburger Abendblatt; Helmut Schleweis (Sparkassenpresident): "We will offer Apple Pay to our customers still this year" (sorry linked page is in german)
Sound too good to be true
Paywalled article unfortunately. But the headline is in line with a photo from an industry symposium months ago where the SPK roadmap for mobile payment on other platforms was stated with Q3/Q4. I don't have doubts about this.
For me too. Edge + Adblocker.
DSGV told this public months ago. Eben the social media teams tell it day by day.Paywalled article unfortunately.
