Yepp. In total volume. We had these numbers in discussion a few weeks and pages ago. That's the big problem in public discussion about the topic.
If the author wants to show, that Germany is "cash land", he quotes the number of sales that are paid in cash (including one single biscuit for a few cents counting as much as a grocery purchase for 200€).
If the author wants to show, that cashless payment is growing, he takes the stats for total volume.
The only statistics you can trust are those you falsified yourself...
