Found a vending machine yesterday that accepted contactless payment. Got myself a Coke with my watch.

So far it has been a great experience with the Watch, only thing that needs sorting is a clearer way of knowing about spending limits.

Now this would be a smart move to have in more locations - you've got no coins but need a drink/snack, or more likely in my case, my children suddenly become parched when we're out somewhere...

Where was this?

I have one of these in my gym and it was actually the first place I tried Pay.

The only downside to using the watch is you don't get any notifications of payment and can't see a transaction history like you can on the phone. Hope they fix that soon. It really is so much easier then the phone.

That's down to your bank. My Amex account shows all transactions via the watch, phone and card. My nationwide account only shows iPhone transactions.

Was at my local hospital. And totally agree with you, would love to see more vending machines with contactless. It's the perfect match.

Interesting. I've just asked RBS why their's doesn't work. Will report back if I get a response.

cards spend can be viewed via General-Settings then scroll down to Passbook & Apple Pay; so far i've used Amex and can see all the tfl transactions

Used Apple Pay a couple of times this week running on a old Nationwide account. Worked well without any issues. The Marks & Spencer cashier was slightly confused when I held my iPhone up to pay. Can't have been many people used it yet I assume.

My main bank (Lloyds) really needs to hurry up and support it.

I just used Apple Pay in Wagamama, one of the places listed on the keynote slide. The waiter had no idea what to do. He had to head off to the back of the restaurant to consult. Eventually, it worked. I pigheadedly kept my debit card in my pocket the entire time!

Amen to that.

Was it more than £20?

I done my first Apple Pay for over £20 today, was in the Apple Store. I used it lots today in fact

I'm on a Apple Pay roll at the moment, used to buy a bottle of water in Boots this morning via their self service machines.
