iPad Pro Apple Pencil UK Availability

Interesting about the John Lewis stock on their website today.
In addition to their email notification, I'm signed up so that they should reserve one for me as soon as it comes in stock. I hope they've not forgot about us!

Just a heads up (it's probably already been mentioned in previous posts), if you call John lewis you can ask for a customer requirement number, they'll call you as soon as it comes in stock and hold it for you.
I've yet to have a call though :(
 
I've just managed to pick one up from the Apple Store in the Bullring. Definitely worth actually asking them to check, I was trying to play it cool cos I'm fed up with asking the same question over and over again and just generally chatting about when they might get stock and one of the other employees over heard and said we had a big delivery today (12) and to check the system.

Still a green tick when I got mine so presume there's still a few left
 
So Amazon are now showing they'll have the Pencil in 1-3 months :eek:

Looks as though Apple will win the Amazon v Apple race.

I'm surprised JL showed stock earlier because it seems as though they've not edited that page in 4 days+.

Anyone tried Edinburgh today out of curiosity?

It really is a luck of the draw type thing now...

I know - I know 2 of the staff there really well as my business deals with them and they said they couldn't hold it - so at least they are being fair and not giving special favours!!
 
Still a bit peed off that those of us who ordered the Pencil online from the Apple store as soon as they went on sale on the 11th still have our orders stuck at "processing"!

Agreed - I'm in that boat too - just keep trying in store too

It's like the Hunger Games now - I feel like as soon as they get stock in my local Apple store it'll be like that scene from Jingle All The Way when they're all fighting like dogs with Arnold Schwarzenegger to win a special numbered ball to purchase the must have action figure of the year...! :D

They said they'd got 5 pencils in this morning and sold out within 30 mins. Then I checked later on as well and they said the same. I'm just unlucky I think. Unless that one extra was a return maybe?

I am a business customer too and the guy said it didn't make any difference they couldn't hold it

Possibly - who knows! Annoying thing is I was going to go into town tonight but changed my mind as had a rough day at work - checked out of interest and he said one left!! I live 40 miles away so wasn't worth driving up to find out it had been sold a minute after i rang!

Well he didn't like you then as every store I spoke to would hold for business. It was just one with stock that I could get to.

The guy i spoke to said he would ask - put me on hold came back and said it didn't make any difference. When i said i had a business query too he then said the business team had all gone home so maybe that was why they wouldn't hold it?! All confusing!!
 
Try to be patient with the staff guys. They've been served a big plate of sh*t by corporate (*cough* Angela) and I don't think anyone is lying or being deliberately useless.

I sent an email with my business address this morning, and the guy replied 10 minutes after saying they had stock in Regent Street and I could reserve one but I had to give him a call as he needed a credit card details.
By that time, I had picked one up from Covent Garden so I didn't need another one :D
But it seems like they are holding pencils for business accounts...
