It is, but they still haven't fixed that other speaker on the bottom. Still not working. And I still can't seem to send those picture message thingies that my friends do.

Home button is also snappier.

What other speaker on the bottom? LOL. The hole on the left is the speaker, the hole on the right is the mic. There's only ONE speaker on the bottom of the iPhone.

iPhone update broke Exchange. I got an error that encryption is required but not supported on this phone. It was working just fine a minute before the update.

no $99 iphone 3gs? epic fail apple ...

Ohh please, not everything can be given away.

For real! I don't understand how so many people can throw around the words "EPIC FAIL" so much... How is it an EPIC FAIL if a company doesn't sell their latest product at a cheaper than normal price?! LOL!

I wish the words EPIC and FAIL could be permanently removed from the online world. ha ha ha

I am disappointed that with iPhone 3.1, Apple did not give iPhone users the Pedometer, movie effects, and the FM radio that the Nano got.

The pedometer uses accelerometers (that the iphone has as well), the movie effects are simply software based, and the communications chip in the iPhone reportedly includes an FM transceiver that a software update could unlock.

Maybe iPhone users will get these features in 3.2.

"Remotely lock iPhone with a passcode via MobileMe"

Thats nice. so If you lose your phone but didn't have it passcoded you can push that down and then no one will be able to get into it.

Also I d/l iTunes 9 and its nice. Home sharing is neutered enough where music companies wont get up in arms. Though I can see app developers crying about sharing apps between computers (buying a GPS nav system once and then putting it on many phones).

However I cant seem to get Genius mixes to show up, I get Genius but not Mixes.

Yeah but there's a catch...I enabled home sharing and it says you must use the same iTunes store account on the other computers to share so therefore you can't really do that unless you and all your family/friends use the same account.

Damn. Happened to me with the 3.0 update so I'm scared *****less about doing this one.

I thought my 3Gs just bricked too! It set my phone into recovery mode. Just restore it (it takes a long time! it did not react for about 15 minutes). Just let iTunes do its thing and eventually it will restore it. Then I was able to restore from backup with 3.1

I was scared too for a while because this has never happened to me in the 3 iPhones I have had.

yeah all nice and all....but how about fixing google maps?
