Dude, you've selected the "on Foot" option - it's giving you Exactly what you asked for.

Try the "By Car" option (little car icon thingy) & see what you get.

Tethering Has Been Broken

the New Os 3.1 Breaks Tethering Hack From Benm Just Installed The New Os And It Will Not Work Damn I Feel Stupid

I for one am happy with the update since it stopped the high pitch noise when recording videos.

Crashed

Argh, i updated to iTunes 9 and performed the iPhone OS Upgrade on my 8GB 3G and it caused an error, had to restore, now recovering from backups.. Stupid!!!!

I have a 3GS and all the sounds seem the same loudness except for my keyboard clicks.

The clicking sound when i type seems fairly quieter.

apple overload?

This happened to both my wife's phone and mine:rolleyes:

I was able to upgrade my 3GS without too much of a hassle, but when I started my wife's 3GS it gave the same error as everyone above and forced me to restore it from its last backup---which takes much longer than the 3.1 upgrade itself.

When we all updated our iPhones to 3.0 a while back, I had a bricked iphone halfway through the update. When all else failed, I called apple and they said the servers that authenticate each iphone update were overloaded and to keep trying. Fortunately I was able to finish my update within 5 minutes or so, but it makes me wonder if they were really prepared for the massive worldwide updates with both itunes and iphone 3.1 today?

Guess I'll just keep reading and find out. I'm sure any problems will be tossed around here like a spinning beach ball!

AFTER upgrading to 3.1, I spent about 30 minutes re-arranging apps in the updated iTunes Applications pane, pressed "apply", expecting the new positions to take effect -- it restored the positions BACK to the way they were before I did all that moving! (or rather -- it had ZERO effect)...

Help!!!!!!!!

I Tried to update and my iPhone 3G said it couldnt and I got an 2001 error message and now it wont restore either?
Also sometimes a 1611
Please help quickly

I haven't found any real differences from 3.0 that I would use daily, or really even ever. Keep in mind here that I have a second gen iPod touch, so many of the changes don't apply... although I hope they fixed the problems 3.0 made withwi-fi

The best things seem to be the iTunes update, which (thank god) is 50 times faster then iTunes 8.

My 2Gen Touch seems to be running a little faster with this update. Or maybe it's just me. I dunno.

update

updated itunes first, then tried updating iphone 3g. it had just begun installing when i got a "this iphone cannot be updated" message and i had to restore to use the phone again. should i just try again? is there a way to delete the 3.1 update that i downloaded from itunes and download it again?

Hopefully this repairs the Bluetooth connectivity on some BMW's.

I have 330i ZHP and the Bluetooth connectivity icon on my OEM navigation screen hasn't been displayed since I've upgraded to the 3G S. In addition, when I make/receive calls; the audio only comes out through the bottom speakers (as opposed to hearing audio through all my automobile's speakers).

You spent a half hour of your life moving apps around?

Crashed!

iTunes 9 crashed on me for the second time. Anybody has experienced the same?

i tried to purchase 3.1 for my 1G touch and it said "Cannot Purchase, Unknown error 5002" Does anyone think they are fixing some issues with 3.1?
