When are they going to fix A2DP so that it doesn't cause system audio preferences to crash, so it actually stays connected, so that it doesn't cause the volume keys to stop working after use, and so that it doesn't cause occasional kernel panics. Seriously.

:D :D

Just go make yourself a cup of hot green tea, drink and relax while the updates are downloading. :)

is it really THAT hard to fix?

honestly... what is it going to take for apple to finally fix that idiot problem with Mail not hiding if it's selected as a login item under user accounts and set to hide... yet another update to Leopard is showing that this annoying issue is still unresolved...

Can I upgrade to 10.5.5 *WITHOUT* first upgrading to the latest Quicktime and iTunes 8 ? I'm holding off on the latter since i've heard so many issues with Artwork etc. crashing!

Mark.

Those people who you heard are idiots.

I've got many thousands of songs, and over a hundred albums on iTunes all with artwork.

btw, there is no need for an exclamation mark after crashing - these are computer issues, no need to hyperbolise the issue.

Yeah! I noticed my 15" MacBook Pro suddenly became a 17" model after the second reboot. Startled the heck out of me!
Actually there might be some truth to this. My MacBook feels like an MacBook Pro now while my 20" iMac feels like an 24" iMac now.

Do you gentlemen think that Apple updated Resolution Independence in Mac OS 10.5.5?

nothing to do with the drivers

Doesn't look like GMA 4500 drivers...

Updated, looks and works fine...some graphic changes in iDisk icon and Finder preferences.

LOVED your quote! Will bully my peecee friends with it!:D

You joking?

I can't see anything yet, and Apple has still yet to fully implement Resolution Independence.
