Apple Silicon MacBook Air/Pro Mac mini Order Status Thread

Ordered MBA 16gb/256gb Space Gray about 10 hours after keynote ended. Original quote of 11/24-27 to the US. Charged and moved to preparing to ship yesterday. Overnight, moved to shipped, got “shipment on its way” email and received tracking. Super surprised to see its FedEx and not UPS. Still showing 11/24-27 on Apple, Apple shipped email says 11/23, and FedEx doesn’t have a date yet.

The shipping/shipment is happening in two phases.1st Phase of Shipping China to US (Country of Destination) UPS, Second Phase within the country via FedEx.

Surprisingly, mine looks completely to be FedEx. BTO MBA to NYC

I am also a new user for macbooks from a windows laptop. I ordered on the 10th late at night and it said would come Nov 17-18 but on UPS it said Nov 16. This is the Macbook Pro M1 Chip Space Gray. However, earlier today it is showing up as exception date Nov 14. There is no ETA at the moment. Anybody have a similar problem or know what’s going on?

I was late to the party. My first Mac, not a power user. Ordered base MBP13 on 11/13 in the am. Expected delivery of Dec 1-8. Let’s see how this goes! View attachment 1666244

Now Apple’s website is showing if ordered today it will arrive November 24 through December 2. Shipments must be going better than they thought.

I ordered nighttime 11/12 - it stated arriving between 11/30-12/7. Just checked and now it’s shipped and arriving by 11/19. Hopefully lots of us are getting earlier than expected arrivals. In US.

wow nvm just got the shipping notification from apple ... BTO base air +16gb ram - says it’s slated for monday, what’s the chances of that actually happening? will apple hold it until tuesday if it does get on track to arrive before then?

Ordered custom (16GB Air) Nov. 11th so I thought would be an extra week. Just got email saying delivery on 19th but clicking through to UPS tracking it is showing 16th end of day. So using UPS for USA deliveries.

Something interesting happened to my order. I’m in Canada and my BTO MBA was estimated to arrive 11/27-12/1 but now slated to arrive on the 18th based on UPS My Choice. However I looked into the delivery options this morning (I was just curious) and was surprised to see that my order is now expected to arrive on the launch day. Idk if UPS could make it happen but my fingers are crossed!

Need to start with your order with Apple. When shipped will have a track shipment button (and you will get an email).

In general carriers will deliver when they say and not delay. Apple doesn't seem to care about early deliveries with Macs. They do seem to care about iPhone deliveries.

given how many people are reporting Monday delivery, i dont think apple’s gonna hold it.

of course unless there’s a delay on UPS side (Missing the flight, custom issue etc)

ordered MBA 16/512, originally stated nov.24-27 but got an apple email saying shipped and 19th. checked UPS it stated 18th. But during the night it went to ‘check back later’, and now it’s saying Monday 16th. I guess custom is just clearing faster than UPS expected.

Ordered 30 minutes after the event. MacBook Air Gold, 256 GB 16 GB. Credit card got charged on Thursday but still says processing. 23-25 November estimate.

I usually follow order threads like this and it seems like this time I lost in the shipping lottery again... never got anything on or before release date ?

Original delivery date was for 17th or 18th Nov. My order's status changed on Friday evening (and card was charged) from "Processing" to "Preparing to Ship", with a delivery date of Wednesday 18th.

My SG 13" Pro 16GB/512GB just went preparing to ship. I ordered just a few minutes after the keynote with an original shipping estimate of Nov. 25-27 in Ontario, Canada. Fingers crossed it comes a bit early.

Date for higher tier silver MacBook Air with 8-core GPU and upgraded 16GB RAM was originally between November 24th - 27th, now it's coming November 19th!
(Ordered about 15 minutes after store opening after event ending)

I love when Apple overestimates delivery time and then pleasantly surprises me.

No problems, just wondered if the UK people had a way of stalking their order like the rest of the forum. I'm guessing all these people citing UPS haven't seen movement on Apple's tracking but can put their order number/email address in to UPS.

Just got a notification that my 16GB/1TB Pro is shipping from China, delivery date updated to Nov 23rd!
