FWIW, 16/512 MBP ordered an hour after the event (Tuesday), original delivery 11/24-27, now "shipped" and slated to arrive 11/19 via UPS. Last seen in Shangahi.

I ordered a silver MacBook Air 8 GPU Core/16 GB/1 TB on the day of release. It was originally slated for November 24-27. I got shipping notification today from Apple that said delivery on the 19th of November. But if you go to track and look at UPS, UPS is saying 16th of November (Monday)! It's currently in Shanghai.
Received my AC+ proof of purchase email which starts tomorrow, November 15th. UPS is still showing the Monday 11-16 delivery date when I log into UPS My Choice, but this is what I see without logging in.
Apple is still saying Wednesday. Wait and see. 🙂

9 hours later UPS says delivery on Monday the 16th, last update says Export scan in Shanghai which sounds promising. So it's gone from 24th-27th (Apple) to 18th (UPS) to 16th (UPS). Now I'm just waiting for something to cause a delay in transit, because this is too good to be true! 🤞
Exactly my situation, but I checked the UPS page and they currently say the 16th. In either case, I'm excited!!

Gonna chance it myself and wait until Tuesday in the hope that they have a few for in-store pickup

Don't think that Apple is allowing these out before 11/17 so I'm banking on that date.
UPS always overpromises and Apple Underpromises but overdelivers.
I'm currently hanging out in Shanghai still... can't wait until there's an actual status that I've departed though. I've been there too long already.

I had an 11/16 delivery date from UPS yesterday, but now it’s back to “check back later” even on My Choice, so I’m guessing that Apple put the hold on it until the 17th.
Shoot! I ordered the same specs to NYC. Shipped from Shanghai via Fedex currently showing 11/23 delivery. Wish I was in your batch getting it earlier!
I am assuming that ”Clearance in Progress” means the MBA is clearing customs through a non-UPS Customs Broker as stated in my previous post but in the same thread. It’s almost 5am in Shanghai right now so I guess the MBA will be flown by UPS airfreight after passing customs.
There's an exception so it's clearing customs right now. Excited for the next status!
Most likely. Someone could call UPS to see if there’s a hold if they are anxious. That way everyone will know.
Well, I ordered on the 11th and got Nov 26–Dec 3. Still processing, no charge on my credit card. When browsing the Swedish Apple Store, it says estimated delivery time for new orders is Nov 24– Dec 1. Apple must hate me.
Ordered today. MBA Base + 16GB RAM. A long wait, 2-3 weeks so will be watching the Apple Store app at launch
My 8x8 16GB Air shipped, it's currently in Shanghai. UPS says 11/16 delivery while Apple says 11/19. Either way, I'm excited it'll be here a week earlier than the original estimate.
Have you tried tracking with your order number (minus one or two digits) as a reference with ups or FedEx?
Mine still says processing, but something is going to be delivered on 17.11 with the same Apple order number as mine 😃
I'm curious, how do you do that? Do you use that as the tracking number or something else?
I am in Brisbane and having the same processing status while the est delivery is 17-18 Nov. I am hoping Australia is different to others. They might send the batch stock here then distribute to the individual customer.
In the past my local Apple stores have not had minis on release day.
