The only update is that the ETA changed from: Monday 10am - 2pm to "Scheduled delivery, check back later." The only explanation is that Apple has forced UPS' hand and told them to hold these packages until launch day, 11/17

That just means the package is going through custom. The time it takes is out of UPS’s hand.
I bought a dell couple months ago and it’s the same. Takes a long time with the Chinese custom.

Sydney, Australia. Just changed from processing to preparing to ship. MBA base configuration. Probably it will come on Tuesday then!
Upgrading from a 2016 retina MacBook. I was using it for web/office usual stuff and some photo editing without particular slowdowns. It should be a massive step up. Excited to test it out!!

Silver MacBook Air w/8GB GPU and 16GB RAM upgrade says it's coming November 19th on Apple's site, but UPS isn't sure what date yet so I'm hoping it comes sooner.

I’m a little late to the game but I just ordered the MBP 16GB/2TB with my wife’s education discount. It’ll be my first laptop. I’ve had desktops going back to 1998. I currently have a late 2015 iMac 27” with a 3TB Fusion drive. Going to give it to my in-laws to replace an even older iMac I gave them. Very excited.

Yo! Got an update on my base config MBA! It has finally left Anchorage, AK! So hyped! Next stop, most likely, Louisville, KY, where it will be sorted for the final time to be delivered to me!

My guess as to what flight my package is on? I think it is this one, although the departure time doesn't match up with what UPS' tracking system is showing (8:47pm vs 8:13pm on Flightaware):

Damn Canada Customs for inspecting and delaying the delivery of my MBA. I thought I would receive my MBA on November 16th as with those who bought their MacBooks in the US.

I just realized that too. Our computers must be dining first class on the UPS Air Freight from Anchorage, Alaska together. Unfortunately I was unable to locate the flight that our computers are on.

Well... I ordered the MBP13” with upgraded ram. Also the Applecare+. The money was pending on my bank balance. Also the order showed on the apple store app.
Come to it this morning to see if it’s closer to being shipped and the order isn’t there and my bank balance doesn’t have the pending there. What the hell? Has my order been cancelled? If so why?

Just spoke to Apple. They said their order status system is down and will be back up and running at 2pm approx. I’m hoping that they check to see if the money is there when you order and then only take payment when it’s about to ship. That would explain why it was pending and no not on my bank. Anybody know if this is the case?

I'd call or e-mail Apple Customer Service about your order.

See my post after yours. I’m hoping that it’s different not being a credit card as mine is out of my bank using my debit card.

I’ve found in the past that Apple frequently takes down the order status system for maintenance at this time on Sunday. It’s middle of the night pacific time but Sunday morning in Europe.
