Got a MacBook Air 512GB storage option coming on launch day. Currently have a 2016 MacBook Pro but it is overkill for my workload these days. I only need to be able to run basic remote support tools and network tools now and again so I am tired of lugging around the bigger machine. I have transitioned to my iPad Pro and keyboard with touchpad but although I can connect it to an ethernet jack if need be, its a bit clunky running network tools. There’s a good return period so I am gonna try this out and of its no good then I can easily return it.

Mine just changed to preparing to ship. Yay!! My 2012 MBA died 2 months ago so can’t wait for the delivery.

I sold my rMacbook last week and I really need a laptop 😅
But at least I got a very good value for it!!

My guess as to what flight my package is on? I think it is this one, although the departure time doesn't match up with what UPS' tracking system is showing (8:47pm vs 8:13pm on Flightaware):

for the record y’all, none of us are getting the laptops on Monday the 16th. I highly doubt Apple would allow that.

Still, I’m excited it’s on its way. Got my new laptop bag and computer shell case ready.

I having a feeling that the 16GB computers aren't as readily available. I could be mistaken... yours will probably still ship a bit sooner than quoted though. Apple underpromises and overdelivers, mostly.

Interestingly, in the order email, it said ships in 4-6 business days. So maybe it will flip to preparing to ship sometime in the next couple of days? Also, how did others get theirs shipped? I've seen people with 16gb ram that got theirs shipped already?

Exact same thing as me. Looks like our MacBook Air is at the same place/same time. Mine has to make its way to the US..specifically the Midwest. Hoping by the 17th.

No. I am more unlucky. Mine shows Dec4 - Dec 11
