Its interesting, I ordered my MBP 16/1 on the 16th of Nov. and now shipping from China supposed to be here by the 16th. It seems later orders of that model are coming straight from Tennessee for delivery later this week.
No one ever faults Apple for any of their indiscretions, manufacturing, advertising, shipping, customer service errors. It really is a shame for a company who purportedly prides themselves as customer focused, and tech forward innovator to fall behind pretty much across the board. I use Apple products and am generally satisfied after the first couple months when they've worked out all of the bugs, but I am honest about the experience, which gets be dog piled by the blind melon fanboy zombies. Honesty and integrity has not only escaped Apple in general, but it is a cancer within the user environment.I'm not going to fault Apple for this one, Wacom is notorious for their funky drivers. I'm guessing they won't have a proper driver until Jan or Feb.
Got the FedEx tracking number on the 16GB/1TB MBP Space Gray, coming from Shanghai. FedEx doesn't show a delivery date but Apple updated it to Dec 17, three days late. I'm hoping it will arrive much faster than that.UPDATE:
Both of these orders placed 11/19:
16GB/1TB MBP Silver was delivered Monday 12/7 around noon via FedEx (about a week early).
16GB/1TB MBP Space Gray still shows as processing with Express Delivery Dec 7-14 but I received a credit card charge at 6:30am today so I suspect it will move to "Preparing to Ship" soon and might make the delivery window after all.
ETA: just before 8am it moved to "Preparing to Ship."
In Belgium, after charging Visa, three days (ordered 17 nov originally estimated for 22 dec, charged 7/12, delivery date brought back to 11, now out voor delivery end of day today 9/12)Does anyone know, how long until delivery in Europe one the credit card has been charged ?
Same here. Very weird. The shipping history doesn’t even say that it’s ever been in hk.....and as soon as I post the update above it has landed in Taiwan and delivery has switched back to tomorrow. We’ll see....
We may be on UPS61.Same thing here. This morning it said Monday, but it just changed to Taiwan and delivery of tomorrow.
We’ll find out tomorrow I guess.
Time matches with UPS61. Let’s see if the package checks in at Anchorage in a few hours.Very strange! Delivery set for tomorrow but now the tracking history is different.

I have to say, this level of forensic flight investigation for our fancy products is above and beyond, haha. Where else but Macrumors? 🤣Time matches with UPS61. Let’s see if the package checks in at Anchorage in a few hours.

Tracking updatedIt actually didn’t give me an option to change the speeding speed when placing the order, just defaulted to Express and they didn’t charge me extra for it.
It’s funny how off the UPS estimates are. Mine showed shipped and a label was created showing delivery on 12/17. The package was picked up, and now shows the 14th. Hopefully it will get here by Friday! MBP 16/1

All the calls to support suggested mine would be shipped from US. Now my delivery date (12/16) is the same as yours (original delivery window was 12/2-12/9). Just spoke to a friend who ordered his (same configuration) on 11/23 with a delivery window in January and he received his yesterday shipped from the US! This is the craziest handling of logistics I have ever seen. Its interesting, I ordered my MBP 16/1 on the 16th of Nov. and now shipping from China supposed to be here by the 16th. It seems later orders of that model are coming straight from Tennessee for delivery later this week.
Just got the tracking for my MBP 16/1TB order that I made on Nov 19. Interestingly it they shipped it from Lebanon, TN, not China.
So I'll get it tomorrow on the 10th, yay!
That’s awesome !
Did you choose, standard delivery or expedited when you ordered?
It actually didn’t give me an option to change the speeding speed when placing the order, just defaulted to Express and they didn’t charge me extra for it.
They unceremoniously changed my shipping status to "Express Delivery"; around the same time My wife's Air left Beijing. They didn't charge me either. They were both ordered on Nov 21. Hers was originally scheduled to arrive a week AFTER mine. Hers arrived Monday, Dec 7, having left Beijing on Thursday, Dec 3.Apple loves you so much!
Weird, so the HK scans disappeared off of the tracking info?My 16/512 MM headed for the USA also now shows going through Taiwan with a delivery date of 12/10. All evidence of Hong Kong is gone. It is moving like magic.
Yes. Gone unless I'm missing something. Maybe they are no longer displaying intermediate hops?Weird, so the HK scans disappeared off of the tracking info?
