Apple Silicon MacBook Air/Pro Mac mini Order Status Thread

My order status finally updated, so I thought I’d put my timeline thus far as well:

2020-12-11 :: Placed order for base MBA (8/256), Space Gray.
Delivery window stated as being between 2020-12-29 to 2021-01-06.
2021-01-01 :: Card charged, and order went from “Processing” to “Preparing to Ship" overnight.

@JTMacster, wish they had billed me last year, but ah well :) arrival date is still 21th January, but pretty sure that will change on monday, and maybe it'll arrive within a week or two.
 
MBA M1 with 16G/1TB, Space Gray.
Scheduled to arrive ETA: Jan 26 - Feb 02, 2021

11-12-2020 Place Order
29-12-2020 Receive Mail "Action Required". As checked no action required and card already been charge.
01-01-2021 Order went from “Processing” to “Preparing to Ship"

That was longer then expected, hopefully will receive it soonest...

Same. Card charged on 12/31. Still not shipping label generated yet.

Shipped from Mt Juliet, TN Dec 18 (FedEx)
Delivered at Mexico City Dec 24

I was glad to receive it just in time for christmas as it was a present for my wife

Today (Jan 2nd) my order went from processing to preparing to ship. No change in ETA yet.
Hope it ships soon!

I don’t know what prompted you to have this “Applecare start date conversation”, but whoever you were speaking with was giving you incorrect information. I ordered a CTO MBA on 12/2 with Applecare and when it arrived on 12/30/2020 I checked the warranty status; it says that it expires on 12/31/2023.
 
My Mac mini 16/1tb shipped on 12/31 but seems to be stuck "in transit" for the last 24 hours.

Does anyone know what the shipment details reference numbers are? One is my phone number and another is my order number from apple, but there are 3 other numbers there. Might one of them be my machine's serial number? They don't look like serial numbers of apple products I've owned in the past... I don't want to post them here but perhaps someone who already received theirs knows?

Apple changed the status today to shipped and sent a text message saying it’ll arrive 12 th January. But looking at the status page it says 6 th January for planned delivery. Fingers crossed for this Wednesday 😍

**update, transit delays in shanghai, so status page tells me to expect delays :(

After much prevarication, I have just ordered an M1 MBA 8/512 with a delivery window of 19 - 26 January. Could have got one sooner from John Lewis (I live in UK) but went with the Apple trade-in program.
 
Welp, it’s finally at the local distribution centre where I live but it sounds like there’s no weekend delivery option. Now showing Monday to deliver my SG 8/8/16/512 MBA. Original est. was Jan. 6-12.
Oh well, Monday can’t come soon enough!

At the risk of looking flaky I found I could get a better trade-in at MacBack and delivery from John Lewis on Monday. So I've cancelled Apple and will hopefully be playing with new machine early next week.

Odd question I'm sure but how do you know when apple have charged your card? I haven't been and doubt I will be this week but is there an email they send out? the amount sits in a savings account and I plan to move it over when they need it

no email from Apple, I just got my bank app notification that I've been charged and then confirmed this in my bank account payments history.

MBP 16/246, destination EU (Poland)
Ordered: 17.12 - ETA: 8-14 Jan
Charged: 1.1
Shipped: 2.1, ETa changed to 14 Jan
I got label created in DHL Eindhoven hub. I read that this means that the package is being sent from China to Eindhoven and it usually takes few days.
Anyone know how long it usually takes to get a delivery here from Eindhoven to destination country? Would lovet to get my MBP a bit sooner than 14th Jan
