Also, I was wondering if anyone considered swapping a delivery order to in-store pickup? Would this be any quicker and is it even an option?
Yeah I'm waiting for a MBP with 16gb ram, 1tb, similar wait time for me too, ordered on the 13th too, although mine has an ETA of Dec. 1st - 8th. Hopefully will be delivery time will be better once they ship out.
Since the nearest Apple Store for me is 2 hours away I'm not considering a in-store pickup. Likely wouldn't be able to get the same configuration as the one I bought.
Mine too, I googled it and i believe the devices are not yet in Eindhoven but going to arrive anytime soon I hope. Does anybody allready have it shipped from Eindhoven? DHL for me. How long does it take from “tracking information received” and thus maybe arriving from china, to out for delivery?

I believe from what I had read that they'll be arriving from China, i'm tracking a cargo flight that left China around 9 hours ago hopefully ours are on that flight

In some instance (when ordering from other companies than apple at least) it's basically by my door (in another part of europe) before the status changes in the tracking
EDIT:// But when I ordered my AW6 the tracking actually started in china

what config did you order and where was it delivered to?If mine is on this flight i'd expect a scan sometime in the next couple of hours, my estimated delivery isn't until the 25th though so i'm trying not to get my hopes up too much.

Can you remember how many hours roughly it stayed at "Shipment information received" for before it changed?
My order of BTO Mac Mini (to Netherlands) is still in the Preparing for shipping status (with 2nd of Dec delivery date) but popped up in my UPS My Choice as being in Shenzhen and is expected to be delivered on Friday. 🤩

Actually mine will arrive on Monday but yesterday just went to a re-opened Apple Store in Madrid to pick up some accesories 😅 and just saw the Pro was available to pick it up! BUT just decided to wait and not changing o messing anything, it's just 5 days away.

Great, I can’t check ups but I also have the same model and estimated delivery date so I hope it shows up here in Belgium sooner as well.
I think maybe it might have been on that flight... it was clocked in in Duiven, Netherlands at 11:52 (local time).

Finally got movement a little over two days after shipping. Lead time from Apple was 11/17-11/18. FedEx says 11/19... Ugh. FedEx literally sucks.

My Mini 16/512 was just sent and moved from 2nd dec to 25th of November.
That's what I did. I went online re-ordered what I wanted, the local store had it in stock so I paid for it online and I will pick it up today. Cancelled my original online order. My delivery date was Dec 4 - Dec 11 - I'm too impatient.
That's good to hear. I really don't get why the 16GB configs are so all over the place when it comes to delivery times.
I need a mac mini for photo and video editting so I'm constantly checking Apple's website to see when a 16GB config is available for pick up.
My 16gb, 1TB MBA arrived last night. Had to flag down the UPS truck. Anyway, Yay! Was up and running with Citrix workspace in three minutes (It needs Rosetta 2).
Loving this MBA, the Magic Keyboard is great to type on (Feels even more comfortable than the 16” MBP did), screen is quite nice and the system is very responsive. I am not a trackpad user, so I was glad to set up the MM2 today.
Looking forward to learning more about Big Sur and definitely Pages, etc. Hope to install Affinity software next week.
