Update: The last UPS81 flight from Shanghai to Anchorage was on 11/20 at 9:58 PM CST (Chinese Standard Time, local). My first "In Transit" update from Shanghai was at 11/20 9:56 PM Shanghai Time (that was 11/19 here in the US). I assumed that this meant that it would probably be leaving on the 9:58PM UPS81, but it's entirely possible that it could have missed that flight - there's probably more than 2 minutes between a scan and flight departure, think about when you scan your boarding pass vs when the plane actually takes off. Since then, I've had one more "in transit" update on the same day in China (Friday 11/20) at 11:23 PM. It's definitely possible
@Gnattu @neworbit99 that our laptops could have missed UPS81 on the 20th. There will be another UPS81 departure today at 9:49 AM CST (it is already the 22nd in Shanghai), which is roughly 8 hours from now. We should keep an eye out for a departure scan before/around that time. If there's no update, UPS' tracking is broken or they lost our packages. If there is an update, they're on UPS81, and then the flight tracking process begins.
It'll arrive in Alaska just past midnight on Sunday the 22nd (in the US), where it'll go through customs, and it could probably depart on
UPS 71 for Lousville, which is scheduled to take off just 20 minutes after the flight from China arrives - unlikely it'll make it if it goes through customs in Alaska. If not, it'll probably sit there for a day and wait for one of the later flights, which FlightAware won't let me find, as they're too far ahead.
