Everybody is going to be so pissed if the store is down because of new iPad Smart Cover colours or something like that.![]()
I still have the original iMac 27" - First Generation. Still a real screamer, can't see a reason in the foreseeable future for upgrading.
Not so sure... I went to the Apple Store the day the aluminum Minis were released, and the employee who I spoke to thought I was joking when I said there were new Minis. I had to show him Apple's site before he believed me. He then looked into it and told me they would be available "at the end of the week." Came back at the end of the week, and that prediction magically changed to "early next week."
Oh poo!
bought a new iMac a month ago
I WILL pull through this (as long as the new equivalent model is not the same price or cheaper)![]()
If that leak is credible, the top-end 27" may have differing guts. The 3 smaller iMacs all have ID's starting with MC812.../MC813... and MC814..., whereas the top-end (3.4QC) starts with MD063...
Does anyone know whether the second char ("C" or "D" in this case) does indicate a technical generation or something like that?
I've been counting down the time for this. The forbidden period since my last purchase in late 2008 is now over.
Why would they use the mobile-version of the GPUs? The old (current) specs didn't.
However, your mac won't somehow be worse juts because a newer model is out.
That is why I wrote almost.
Also the iMac is more important to Apple than the Mac mini, as the iMac makes more money than the Mac mini due to the iMac being sold more.
That is why you always review buying guides and such. However, your mac won't somehow be worse juts because a newer model is out. Enjoy it, as you have for the last month.
