Correct me if I'm wrong, but the current ASD does not have the feature to show your desktop like the new iMac has, does it?

At least there should be an update in the webcam to allow this feature but on the other hand it would have made sense to release it togehter with the new mini and not wait for the MacBooks.

What'd you mean by Retina? More than 220 ppi like 270 in MBPs? I don't think this is gonna happen. 220 ppi is a gold standard, that's already Retina.

Sorry, meant Retina and Promotion. I don’t think the Studio Display tier will get ProMotion for the time being.

Current ASD does not support Desk View. Is possible this is a software feature enabled via firmware update.

We must not forget the following: Either Apple has made a deal behind the scenes with a panel manufacturer to produce new display panels that also support 220PPI at 120Hz, or we still have to wait for such news from the big panel companies. Then the pieces of the mosaic will fall into place. BOE, AUO, LG Display or Samsung Display, for example, would come into question.
