If you want a bit of height without spending the money on the tilt and height stand, Twelve South have the riser which if you were using a Mac Mini paired with the ASD, fits neatly in the shelf.

I have the one for the MBP and it´s great; I found it on amazon renewed for half the price. For the display is a good match but too much metal for my taste on the desk.

Maybe something like this but it looks big?

So my Studio Display with height adjustable stand is ever so slightly crooked ...

Long story short, I actually bought both the tilt only version and the height adjustable version. When comparing them back to back, my eyes felt like the height adjustable monitor was slightly crooked. Especially when placed right in front of some wall mounted lights I have that are very level.

This was picked up from an Apple store so I know it didn't get banged up by UPS to my place. Did some searching around and I guess the new 24" iMac has suffered from a few crooked builds too.

So I busted out the rulers and yep, it's indeed a tiny bit crooked and wasn't just my table. Normally I can maybe live with imperfections but, for a $2,000 display where build quality is one of the major selling points, I'm sending it back to Tim Apple. Also the tilt only monitor is indeed perfectly level. Good times.

I have 2 of the tilt-adjustable displays, and there is about 1/8 - 1/4" height difference between them. Driving me nuts

Has anyone tried calibrating the Studio Display with an i1 Display Pro type device?

The XDR dispalys in the 32" and laptops don't profile as well, but this Studio Display, being an update of the older technology, should work well if the software knows how to properly interpret the data. These devices worked great on the older iMac 27" displays.

That said, with the fine tune calibration feature of the different profiles, you might not need to do a full calibration anymore.

Does anyone notice a slight greenish shift/tint when looking from above? Noticeable especially on white backgrounds..

Just a thought...my two were off a small bit too, about 1/8". A piece of card stock, like a business card, slid under the base of the lower display (on the side nearest the other display) was enough to get mine to match up. A small angle increase on the base may be all you need to get good alignment out 9" or so where the displays meet each other. I slide mine all the way under so it can't be seen.

Interestingly, Intel's UHD Graphics Control Panel can adjust the brightness and contrast of the Apple Studio Display in Windows 10.

Anyone planning on using this with the space grey MBP? Does it bother you that the colors don't match?
Take a look at some of my pics in the thread. It's not too big of a deal! TBH I might put my MacBook further away from my display later on (on a side table beside my desk)--not just for color clash but also so that I have a really minimal and sleek setup. Damn them and that ridiculously short cable lol!

That's a good idea, and I'd love to. What page are they on?

That looks good, but I think I agree. Putting it off to the side in clamshell mode would make it look a lot cleaner. I really like that desk, also what Taylor guitar is that? I have a 614ce myself.

MKBHD usually doesn't say bad things about Apple products, he is usually a very balanced reviewer, yet even he has suggested that this monitor is CRAP...Maybe I should return it....🧐🧐🧐

Now, if only I could gaze into the future and confirm for myself that the 32-inch 8k/7k Mini-LED monitor is in production, then this monitor is going straight back to Apple....yet I can't confirm it...

Hmm....I still have 1 more week for the return...
