I have a current iPad mini and don't need a new iPad. But if I were in the market, the 10th gen is what I would buy. While I would miss the laminated display, landscape FaceTime camera alone is worth it. So sick of that stupid portrait camera every time I use it for a video call.

Cool new keyboard? Yes. Worth the price tag? Absolutely not. ONLY Apple Pencil Gen 1? Terrible idea, should be Gen 2.

So this gets the camera repositioned but not the Pro? WTF.

This was definitely a redesign while the iPP was just internal changes. Definitely a bit strange for the low end model to introduce a fundamental change, rather than top end. Probably has a lot to do with work from home. Cheapest device sells the most, gets used with a keyboard a lot for work, and used for zoom calls in that orientation.

Well, I was wondering if I'd regret my 9th Gen (bought in March), but... Primary School colours and a DONGLE for 1st gen pencil... AND a price rise? Are they trying to kill this tier in favour of the Air?

I’m curious to see how the pencil would charge given the USB C connector. Another dongle perhaps?

I really like the colors on this new iPad though. Finally vibrant colors instead of the washed out pastel hints of colors on iPad Air/minis

$9 usb-c to lightning adapter. Or you have to buy a new package of the 1st gen pencil that will have the adapter included.

So, it doesn't work with the v2 pencil .. and it wont work with your existing v1 unless you buy an adapter.

Great update, those old bezels are finally gone from the whole line-up and those flashy colours are a nice touch.

The price hike tho is a shame.
