Ordered an Ultra on Amazon UK also as I'm worried Apple will use UPS and I've had two packages go missing in the last few weeks with them. I hope to get an estimated ship date before Apple dispatch so I can cancel theirs.

I'm glad Apple dropped the 'Edition' naming. It always sounded strange to me.

Also once the SE watch was released, it was weird to have an Edition watch along with a SE [special edition] watch.

I've got the 7 'Edition', and will keep it for the next while, now that it's an endangered species. But the Ultra is Titanium too. *shrug* The Ultra looks, to me, too cliché...

Does the Ultra support the sat based SOS stuff? Seems like a miss if it doesn't since it targets activities (hiking, diving, etc) that would benefit from it in case of emergency.

IMO the ultra is trying to take the garmin watch market. i don't do any of the extreme sports that would appear to benefit from the ultra AND it's too big! i can barely wear the small regular watch!

Not sure and of course waiting to speak with someone is taking forever. My iPhone order went through fine, but this just got moved to on hold. Ahhh
