Nice strap, where did you get it?

I saw someone else post it on another thread and I'm glad I ordered it, I really like it!

What size band is the leather? Another Amazon reviewer said his 24mm band fit perfectly

It looks like a pretty good fit at 22mm. If you really push it over there might be a little more room. Hard to tell if a 24mm would fit. It would look good if it wasn't forced in there. If anyone tries, please post pics.

luckyblue, that's a pretty nice pairing. Thanks for the review of the adapters. BTW does this brand come with phillips screws as shown in the photo? I know Apple's and some seller on e bay that is advertising they are OEM manufacturers are using the different screw style.

I should have mentioned that they come with phillips screws and they include a mini screw driver in the set. It also came with an extra screw in case you drop and lose one of them (which would be very easy to do).

I like this new adapter better than the regular ones out there. They are not as popular yet and I haven't found anything sells them with bands. But I don't mind buying separate adapters so I can buy cheaper bands. I bought them from this guy at ebay. They only come with Silver color only but has both the 38 and 42mm sizes.

I really like this style, it's much more custom. I just wish they made them a little wider so they could fit a 22mm band for the 38mm option. 20mm would be too narrow IMHO.

I emailed one of the ebay sellers about adapter that he had for sale with a band. It said space gray, so I asked him if it was space gray or black. He said it was somewhere in the middle and they will better match color adapter in couple of weeks.

OK....as a woman, may I ask are there any third party bands that do not need the screwdriver to fit them....I am totally confused with talk of screws, Locktite etc!

It's not the bands that need the screwdrivers or Locktite...it is the adapters. The screws hold the bar in place that holds the bands.

Ok so I've seen a bunch of threads that mix talk about straps and mounting hardware like new third party adapters. I'm in the market for some but don't want to go digging through those threads looking for the best adapters.

Just posted in The Great "Third Party Band/Strap" Thread
That adapter is black but it comes in silver as well.
Bought it from Goldvogerln
Costs 24 €
For my 42 mm SG Sport AW
Fits nicely up to 24 mm (as shown in the pictures) bands. It may have enough spare space for 26 mm.
The quality is really good and it fits right in the watch. Will see in few months.

I bought 1 NATO and 1 Zulu straps.

Finally got my adapters. They actually aren't that bad and the color is pretty close to the space gray. Not bad for $12.

Where did you get these?

Actually just wrote the seller. One of the two adapters is bigger than the other and feels loose and sticks out. Still works as expected but is an eye sore. Asked if he could send me another one that fits better. One pic is the bad one and one is the good one. I ordered from the link in my first post. Waiting to see what the seller says. Oh and he is definitely not I NJ like the auction says. Must be from Hong Kong and reshipped from location in NJ.

EDIT: guys i want to bring something to your attention. previously, i showed a picture of my adapters i got from eBay. it appeared one wasn't fitting right and was very wobbly (pulling out) and sticking out on the sides (see pic directly below). i now have them installed with a 2 piece zulu strap and they indeed fit perfectly. i think this was my error, as i think i put it in upside down. they need to be installed with the metal middle button facing down (to properly lock into the corresponding hole in the watch body). the reason my previous attempt was wobbly and pushing out was because the middle rubber piece on the adapter was attempting to grab into the hole. so instead of clicking in, it was squashed in. for anyone who has a shady fitting adapter, not seating right, flip it over. there indeed is a correct way to install these. i emailed the seller on eBay letting them know it was my mistake, even though they shipped me a replacement. the ones i bought from inkoo888 on eBay indeed fit well and cheaper than all the other ones on eBay.

Wow those look bad.
This is the seller with the cheesy unfinished product pictures, right?

Actually the one is in great shapes do fits well. It's just the other one that doesn't sit right and feels a little loose. I'm already in contact with the seller and waiting to see what they say.

Same here. I went to my watch guy and he had one the same size but the head was too big and would scratch my watch if I were to use it.
